I'm a bit disenchanted with the whole LEGO game thing at this stage, although this could well be the game to pull me back into it. My problem with the last few that I've played (didn't bother with LEGO Batman 2 though) is that it seemed quite empty of new ideas, and aside from slight changes to the gameplay in each release it felt like you were playing almost the exact same game every time. Hopefully this one will have something 'more' as let's be fair, who doesn't like LOTR?

| Batman 2 was the first lego game I played and even though I enjoyed it enough to 1k it, it had no look inversion. If this one doesn't have it, I shall let it pass. |

| @17 Well who the hell else would voice thee? The game is based on Peter Jackson's movie Trilogy, so it's makes sense to use the same voices as the movie, and getting the cast in to re-voice them again would be a colossal waste of time and money. Though IMO, it would be better without Voice Acting in general, LEGO Batman 2 felt like it lost something special when they started talking. |

| ive only ever played demos of the LEGO games, and although i was really tempted by LEGO batman and pirates of the carribean, i never got round to actually buying them. but since anything that has the lord of the rings name on i will sit up and take notice, think this will be my 1st LEGO purchase :) |

I really enjoyed Lego PotC and especially both Lego Harry Potter games. LotR seems like the perfect franchise to add to this series of enjoyable games.
There is only one series I'd like to see more... If only they were to make a Lego Avatar: The Last Airbender game!!! |
