| The demand for a game such as this isn't high enough but they decide to look more into Free-to-Play when amongst gamers there is probably little to no demand. Figures... |

| @4 i would think even 10,000 is more than enough, look at other games that got sequels, i doubt they had a lot of people interested in their sequels, the developers are talking shite, they know for a fact that enough people want this game to warrant it being made, i would say it's more down to cost rather than demand. |

I'd buy it in a second - never heard of this Facebook group this, but is that really the best forum of this kind of thing? The obvious way to do this would be to have a hit counter or register on a Timesplitters 4 website and gauge it from that, by asking the actual fans. Failing that, Timesplitters 2 HD remake. Day one. |

@15 I suggest you check out TimeSplitters 2 at least, it may not be the most emotional game or the most technically advanced (even for it's time) but it made up for it easily as it was just so committed to just having fun and giving you a ton of modes to play with. If they ever did an HD Remake of either 2 or Future Perfect, it would be a day one purchase. |

I want Timesplitters 4 desperately but I wouldnt join a facebook page asking for one. Thats the thing i hate about facebook is the Lets tell everyone everything im doing and all my interests. I Share the info I want people to know not every last detail. And I know for a fact many many other people are like me in this sense. So 10,000 facebook fans may not be alot but it is only a small representation of a much larger number. It's the number of fans who use facebook, who knew about that page, and who decided to join the page. The reality is that the number of people who want it is actually much much Higher. Wouldn't mind betting a hundred fold. |

@9 not everyone uses facebook, also how many knew about the facebook group created? i didn't know probably along with thousands of others, plus i would think if 10,000 people ended up playing the game then they should be happy, think of how many shit games have ended up having less then 10.000 playing it. i don't disagree with u that they want millions to play it but sadly that will only happen on the major game titles, and if as the developers claim there is not enough interest then obviously it shouldn't be classed as a AAA title, that though still shouldn't stop it from being made, i still say it's just about cost. |

Crisis are a bunch of liars. I remember them clearly saying at the launch of Crisis 2 "we will see about Time Splitters if crisis 2 does well" . Crytek said then "on we might be working on it for a next gen console", and then announce crisis 3 (WHY?) . If their is enough demand, are they serious? I give up. |

Crytek has made alot of money making triple a games and he want;s the company to go free to play and actually believes this will be the future of games. Why Crytek do a study on a community pool that they know will support the product? So you ask people on a site dedicated to your game if they want the sequel and demand was high, but you expected more? From who? Obviously that group of takers want the game. What they need to do is study gamers from ages 15-36 Male, Female. Those unfamiliar with the title, give a little details and see if your numbers don't rise. If your going to judge interest, don't use Facebook. You use a gaming site like this or others. The only thing people on Facebook is showing interest in, is Likes and Pics. |

Please don't hurt me... I'd never heard of TimeSplitters before this series of articles about Yerli being a little tease, then did some research to see what the deal was. Obviously, the interest is high among fans; just look at these comments. But in the general market, I'm really not so sure to be frankly honest, though Crytek is doing a horribly unscientific method of collecting data. I agree with #66; if Crytek wants to seriously, seriously gauge interest on TimeSplitters 4 (which seems to be what they want to do), then they need to conduct actual surveys on popular video gaming websites. However, in my opinion (forgive me) I think that favorable responses would be lower than fans would hope. |

| I personally like Crysis but I do agree with #6 sometimes bad games get sequels example Homefront and good games don't example Red Faction Armageddon both Homefront and Red Faction are THQ titles, Homefront was a sad disapointment of a game and Red Faction Armageddon was yes far from perfect but a very fun game so what happens Homefront gets a sequel and the Red Factions series is cancelled yeah that makes sense... And as for Timesplitters I think Timesplitters as a fanbase has been almost as patient for a sequel as the Half Life fanbase. I mean come on what does it take for them to realize that there is good money to be made in the pursuit of continuing the Timesplitters series when they waste their time with this theory that the future of gaming is gonna be free to play games very few things in life are free especially entertainment. Come on Crytek wake up and smell the fans demands. |
