It's a shame that Scott Pilgrim is charging for multiplayer. Although the number one reason I never got the game was for lack of online co op.

These deals are no better than the last few weeks, it's always a matter of if it's something you want or not, which is what you whiners seem(ed) to miss. MS doesn't pay for these deals (at least, not entirely), themed deals are mostly up to the publisher(s) involved. EA could have done KoA sales (for example) weeks ago... or waited a year. It was up to them. It's just like the whining about GoD prices... they are set by the publishers, MS can only accept or reject the deal the publisher wants to offer. |

@13 - The Rocksmith Bass Upgrade is a major expansion to the game. Every song on the disc will now support Bass arrangements, as well as now having over a dozen Bass technique challenges, and some of the Guitarcade games will also support Bass.
Any DLC already downloaded will ALSO support bass too! It's a massive expansion and $30 is a great deal for what is basically like a second game altogether. |

| @13 The multiplayer is so you can play co-op online with friends rather than have to all be on one XBOX. Honestly, that should have been there from the start. Adding a 7th playable character kind of sweetens the deal a bit. |

This is fantastic for anyone who has snagged KoA: Amalur for $10 from Best Buy since the release of @Gamer's July/Aug issue or plans to (like myself), they couldn't have planned this better if they wanted a high amount of DLC sales. Surprised to see even a non-story DLC is on sale too, usually they ignore those. Lucky for us DLC completionists, we can have at it.
Family DotW is meh, but it's a fairly newish game, good for anyone who missed it the last one or two times it's been on sale.
Surprised the see Saints Row the Third DLC on sale considering the Season Pass (which at this point is just a glorified pre-order bundle, susceptible to sales down the line like anything else), if I had the game or the money to blow on the DLC of a game I didn't have, I'd get it. Wouldn't be surprised to see it on sale again considering how bad a situation THQ is in, and how often SR2 DLC goes on sale.
Happy to see Missing Link on sale again, kicked myself for missing it the first time because I ended up buying the game about two weeks after the sale, but I gotta admit I'm disappointed overall with the Square-Enix sale, all of this stuff has been discounted during their last publisher sale, and last time there was much more to choose from.
Lastly, jaw dropped when I saw Scott Pilgrim was getting an add-on after almost 2 years since after its last DLC. I mean it's good to see Ubisoft finally addressing the complaint of a lack of online multiplayer, and throwing in a random character for an added bonus but it's a matter of too little to late I think. It's also a blatant cash grab for a feature that should have been included as a patch (and at $5 no less, full game would cost $15 now, at least reduce the price of the game to $5 to offset this), and would explain why the Knives DLC was on sale two weeks or so ago. On the bright side, maybe we'll see a patch along with this DLC that'll fix Chaudown for those who still need it. |

I had a feeling that Kingdoms of Amalur DLC would get discounted soon; it seems like my instincts were right on this one. Since I just picked up Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Missing Link is a nice pick-up.
On another note, since Arron beat me to the punch on Scratch & Match, that leaves Chain Reaction. All of it is BioShock 2 DLC:

I am absolutely most excited about the Scott Pilgrim DLC! I will GLADLY pay 5 bucks to be able to play that game online. The game is already an absolute masterpiece to me, so upgrading it with a MUCH NEEDED mode is worth every penny. :D

Adding more characters is always great though; I'm getting pretty bored of running through the game on the highest difficulty with a maxed out character. |

| Balls, went out today to buy some more MS points to get the KoA:R DLC and it ended yesterday. At least I can still get the SR3 DLC though. |
