Next Week's Rock Band Tracks Die in Your Arms Tonight

There's a diverse selection of tracks coming to Rock Band next week, with a classic 80s power ballad from Cutting Crew taken from the band's 1986 album 'Broadcast'. The song "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" appeared in GTA: Vice City (if we remember rightly) and also reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, as well as being a hit worldwide.

Next up is a breakthrough track from Hoobastank taken from the band's self-titled debut album, which is followed up by a song from influential 80s British rock band, Whitesnake. One of my dad's favourites...

"Still of the Night" is a "blues-inspired hard rocker" according to the Rock Band forum update. Good to know. Check out all three tracks below:

Single Tracks - 160 Microsoft Points each. X = 80 Microsoft Points per track for a Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade O= support for keyboards

  • Cutting Crew – “(I Just) Died in Your Arms” O X
  • Hoobastank – “Crawling in the Dark” O
  • Whitesnake – “Still of the Night” O

(All tracks are original master recordings)

Look out for them on the Xbox Live Marketplace from August 7th.

I like all of these songs, just don't get why they don't release as a pack, 40 points saving per pack really does add up.

Damn, I thought the headline was a reference to Dying in Your Arms from Trivium.

Will get all three, eventually. Damn this "recession".

@18 Calm down. You don't have to make a big deal out of knowing it wasn't gonna be a trivium song.
