GRID 2 Teaser Trailer Tears it Up

Here you go, folks. Codemasters has released a teaser trailer for the long awaited GRID 2.

It’s short, but pretty sweet, showing a spinning wheel burning some rubber to appropriately dramatic music. It also offers up a date, Wednesday 8th of August 2012, so expect a full reveal next week. Can’t wait!

GRID 2 has been on the cards for some time. Back in January we visited Codies’ studio and the company's director of communications, Rich Eddy, said to us "Loads of people are asking where GRID 2 is, when that's coming back. Well stayed tuned, you may not have to wait long to hear more about that." 

Turns out he made us hold on for another seven months. We’ve got a feeling it’ll be worth the wait.

About time codies! First game was really good, can't wait for this one.

CAN;T WAIT!!!! loved GRID and played the hell out of it.Never did get the dlc but did 1k the original score.Loved the variety of cars and tournaments.I know I wasnt the only one addicted to its online drifting comp.

@3 Grid is far from a racing sim, even for console standards. Hopefully Grid 2 uses at least the EGO 2.0 engine so I won't have to jump through hoops to use a steering wheel.
