Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)

In Criterion's Need for Speed: Most Wanted not only are you a racing maniac, you're also a flagrant law breaker, speeding through the city executing high-velocity stunts and reckless driving manoeuvres without a moments' thought for the rules of the road.

In this latest gameplay video, there's a look at some of the desirable rides you'll be able to get your hands on in Need for Speed: Most Wanted, including the Corvette ZR1, The Koenigsegg Agera R and The Hummer H1 Alpha, which are all shown in fast edited footage as they outrun the fuzz.

'Drive Hard, Get Wanted' the video proclaims, as some aggressive dubstep pounds your earholes. Check out the vid below, then put the pedal to the metal for Need for Speed: Most Wanted on October 30th in North America and November 2nd in Europe.

	I know I'm going to get slated for saying this, because I know a lot of people wanted a remake of most wanted. But I can't help be a little disappointed that it was Underground 2. The customization is that game was just brilliant.

	@1 ummm Most Wanted followed by Hot Pursuit were the best games for NFS....be grateful they are combining the two.

	@1 Well, given that the two Criterion NFS games so far have been based on existing games, maybe the next one will be an Underground title.

	I was looking forward to this game but after seeing this video..... it just seems more of the same. Don't know about this one.

	I still don't get it, can someone explain the reason behind calling this game Most Wanted? Why not Most Wanted 2 or Most Wanted with a 2nd title underneath. I just don't see why it's called Most Wanted, is it a remake of the original, I don't know but to me it just doesn't make any sense.

	I am quite baffled...could someone explain why they don't allow customization anymore? I wanna drive MY own personal vehicle...even though the underground series might not have been the greatest to some, one thing that hooked people and made it so popular was the customization...

	Yeah, AC3 will have to wait for a price drop. I think Ill find this more enjoyable right away. (AC3 still looks great, I just think my budget will get this first)

	This will be really good and I liked Hot Pursuit but their adamence to not do modding is kind of weird. It's always been a big part of the NFS series, even if it's just vinyls and decals it's better than nothing. This is basically just a burnout game with real cars, which is great, just not NFS really...

	YES!! i am as excited about this as the last most wanted that came out.... p.s. i never played the first most wanted....so ya shows how excited i am...wtf is with the remakes?!?! no more original ideas?!?! if they were gonna remake anything should have been the underground series...not these shitty ones..

	NFSU2 did have the best customization. Hands down. I personally didn't like how they dumbed it down for Carbon and Most Wanted (don't get me wrong, I still loved that game). I think a NFSU2 HD remix is what this series needs, hell I'd play the original again if it had achievements. I dropped hundreds of hours into that bad boy.

	I'm definitely buying this, but I need to see/hear more about the MP to see if that will be at release or after a price drop. @5 From what I've read yes, it's open world. Also, I have read that some of the MP will be similar to Paradises and its online coop challenges. Not sure about the single player and the rest of the MP though.

	I wish an interviewer would just ask a Criterion developer, "is there a STORY mode?". I know there isn't, but I just want to hear why a developer wouldn't want to include it. I'm buying it, but not until the price drops. Not much content compared to most racing games.
