Deadlight isn't worth the 1200MSP point tag. The game is extremely short considering what one would think is presented in the trailers. Really disappointed in it.

| People talking shit about Deadlight need to fuck off. The game isn't even out yet. And it's been getting solid reviews across the board. And the complaints about an arcade game, five hours long, being too short are fucking ridiculous. Limbo could be completed in less than an hour. That game is stellar. And I can think of several of arcade games that can be completed in under an hour. All for the same price as Deadlight. Fucking people will find any reason to complain. And in this case, the complaints are baseless. |

@20 I can see your point, but you have to remember that those deals are only for the US/Canada as far as I know, and if it is avaiable in Europe it is only in the UK, since no other countries are important apparently.
I love how some people (especially in the US) complain about their gold-membership and lack of deals, even though they get more deals and apps and cheaper gold membership, plus cheaper retail games, than a lot of other people. |

| Was really looking forward to Deadlight, but now seeing all the negative reviews I think I will at least wait for a price drop. 1200 points is a lot for something 2-4 hours long that I might only like the first 30 minutes of. |

@19 - 'And it's been getting solid reviews across the board.' - you consider 68.5% average from critics 'solid reviews'? That to me does not say to spend 1200msp on a game. It being 5 hours long, have no replayability and be distinctly mediocre makes it a poor game. Hopefully it'll come down to a more reasonable price (600msp max.) sometime soon.
I don't know what investment you apparently have in Deadlight, but saying people's complaints are baseless is far from true when there's plenty of reviews/video reviews to be able to form at least some semblance of an opinion from. |

| Even though I knew what DOTW would be today last week it still is amazing how shit it is and the next few weeks will probably be the same as MS wants us to buy the Summer of Arcade games. Glad TBH as the next few months are going to be expensive. |

| Not the worst DOTW, that award goes to a few weeks ago when it was a character pack for the Scott Pilgrim arcade game at half price. DOTW used to be fantastic and is actually one of the main reasons I renew my Xbox Live Subscription. Hopefully people from Microsoft actually read the comments on these articles and realise that they could potentially be losing a lot of subscribers. |

DotW really is the same things over and over. How about instead of reducing Brotherhood DLC like last week, they move onto Revelations. At least keep it more current. |

@14 aren't ps3 trophies usually the exact same as the xbox 360 achievements for most(if not all) games? i know they were for the games i looked at, anyway. curious as to how the same feat on one system is more interesting than on another.
OT: meh. haven't been terribly interested in anything DOTW lately. just picked up minecraft a few days ago and the duels of the planeswalkers 2013 before that. been playing those and skyrim until borderlands 2 comes out. although i will pick up the transformers demo, hopefully it's not as terrible as the other ones i played, never could get into them. |

| I love how people bitch and moan about the DotW every single time. This isn't even a bad deal, because the Tomb Raider stuff hasn't been on sale yet. I have been waiting to pick it up on sale and I did just that today. Microsoft can't put every single thing on sale at the same time to please everyone. | And @69, arcade games are not only for casual gamers, and even if they were it shouldn't matter because last time I checked video games were for the enjoyment of people in general, not just "hardcore gamers" that play them all day. They are not necessarily "retro" either. Arcade games are not outdated. They, just like non-arcade games, have an artistic design. Sometimes that artistic designs necessitates sidescrolling. Limbo, Shadow Complex, and Braid were all sidescrollers and I loved every minute of them. If you don't like arcade games don't get them, but don't say they are outdated or casual gamers only. |

@74 I just come here for the daily game news and to see the achievement lists for games. I don't use the game forums.
@81 Actually it's more like renting the games imo, you don't really get them for free since you can't play the games after your PS+ membership ends. You can also rent those games for less than that, except for the Sony games, you'll have to pay for an online pass if you rent their games and want to try the online. |
