running in enemys would have been good but i can understand it would be hard for bipedal enemys like cyclopses or trolls and even more annoying on flying enemys like the griffon and dragons so i dont mind that that wasnt in hopefully this quest creation thing will be great and hopefully the sequal is better that the first game which was loads of fun to play and kept my attention longer that skyrim |

| Bring co-op to 2 and I'll buy it. Played the demo and it was good but dident buy it, dragons dogma would of been perfect with co-op. before you guys/girls bash me for sayin it needs co-op. I say that because I'm a mad gamer . I would beat the game fast then it's boring. With friends to play with would make it great! And last longer |

@5 There is fast travel, it is called "Port Crystals." I can't believe how many people always bring up there isn't fast travel in the game and there is. You can have up to 5 Port Crystals active in the world which is more than enough to get you where you need to be for any quest. I never had any issues "fast traveling" with them. Co-op would be cool for the next one. This one had plenty of replay value. You can go through the story multiple times with a New Game+ option which is awesome, and after you beat the story, Everfall and the UR Dragon can keep you busy for another 40+ hours easily. I put at least 130 hours into the game before I capped out at level 200 and it was an amazing ride ;) |

| Very nice, love the game. For me the biggest thing would be scaling enemies strength in new game+ so it doesn't become too easy. Loads of replayability potential with that and a quest creator. |

@#7 you can have 10 active port crystals, not only 5. i agree on co-op it would be better to play with people than some shitty pawns. |

| I hate multiplayer being added to every game under the sun now a days but I think this is a game that would work well with co-op of some sort. I'd be fine with just having the ability to control my pawn in a friend's world after they have been hired. Just give me the ability to upgrade my pawn while I'm playing as them and it would be great. |

| They should take "Pawns" out of the game, or at least make them completely optional. The thing I hated most about Dragon's Dogma, was being forced to use pawns, since the game was overly hard. |

@20 No, this game was made for the pawn system which is way more technical than any coop that would be thrown in. The pawn system is different and part of what made this game so unique and enjoyable. Coop would make the pawn system pointless. |

In this very article alone someone has said they didn't buy the game because it didn't have coop. Coop and multiplayer are killing single-player games like this. |
|

Forum Posts: 919 | Comment #25 by I mak3 big boom Monday, July 30, 2012 @ 01:12:25 PM
| @23 I don't understand. Its not like you have to play the coop. It's an optional thing for the people that want it. |
|

Forum Posts: 122 | Comment #26 by Ashes in Fall Monday, July 30, 2012 @ 01:28:09 PM
@25 The thing is, why would they bother to bring back the pawn system when a user can simply join your game? Plus, coop seems to be a huge selling point today (see comment(s) #6, 8, and 11). The option being there can ruin the formula of something that has been established. Coop is not something that belongs in this game, or almost any single-player RPG, to be honest. Games like this for co-op have already been made (Diablo, Borderlands, Dead Island, Dungeon Siege, etc). Not to mention that's just time and money spent developing the cooperative element that could be used making the game itself better. |

@17: I understood the pawn system, but I should need stupid A.I. by my side to play the damn game. Same thing with Co-Op. The ONLY reason Co-op exists is so that retards can get the help they need to beat a game, since they suck too much to beat it themselves. The only thing Co-op would EVER be good for, is beating your dick, YES, I would like help with that, preferably from a girl/woman. |

| @28 Yes, co-op is needed in DD2. I loved how the pawn system worked in DD1, but that got so effing tedious after a while. I'm definitely marking for co-op in 2. Actually, since DD1 did so well, maybe they'll smarten up and bring Monster Hunter Frontiers to the west :D. I don't know if it'd outsell DD1, but that would be a day one buy (and orgasm lol) for me! Always loved little instanced online RPGs like that. You'd think they would've ported it over straight away since games like PSU and Sacred 2 did so well. Also, I 'love' that DD1 outsold RE:RC. I'm slowly regaining faith in humanity again. |

@26 This isn't "single" player though... you have a party. You could do everything you can do with pawns with players instead. Players have better communication, judgement and tend to not stand in front of a dragon's face whilst getting burnt to death only to be picked up and do the same thing again. Give us co-op. End of. Everything is better played with friends. Capcom will probably add co-op. It's a huge selling point and they're all about the money these days. |

@31 It's not singleplayer? How is this any different from any other RPG that has a party like Mass Effect or Final Fantasy? The only thing that is different is you dont directly control your party, like in Infinite Undiscovery. The Pawn System added another layer to the gameplay. Boosting your pawn up and setting up their skills to have them be desirable so that other players use them. When they get used you reap the benefits of having a good pawn, experience, quest knowledge, and items. It's way deeper than just tagging on some coop. It's different, and in a gaming environment that is stagnant, different is good. What they need to do is just improve upon the AI of your pawn at least or the ability to issue simple commands to the pawns. |

I couldn't get into this game for some reason. I bought it day one (and no, I didn't know about the RE6 demo believe it or not) and it didn't really hold my interest for some reason, I don't know why, I usually love this kind of stuff. I still have it though, and I plan on giving it another go sooner or later. Anyone else have this problem until a certain point in the game? |

@9 I'd prefer to see scaling as an option, not just for a new game + but for all RPGs. I don't mind a challenge, but I also like feeling incredibly powerful.... Quest creation sounds like a cool idea. Hopefully we get co-op as well |

| @16 you dont need to use any pawn, you have your main pawn which you can throw off a cliff if you want and you dont need to get him back from a rift stone if you dont want to and the other 2 pawns are optional |
