A new Sleeping Dogs gameplay trailer has popped up online today, showing eight minutes of footage taken from a mission for the matriarchal meat cleaver-wielding Mrs. Chu, who works from the back room of her restaurant the Golden Koi. It's murder, not food that's on her mind though.

In the action-packed gameplay video, we get to see Wei Shen tracking down Johnny Ratface - one of the gunmen that killed Mrs. Chu's close friend - before facing his minions in some hand-to-hand combat. We then ride with Wei Shen as he leaps onto a motorcycle to get to Johnny's escaping car.

Using an action hijack, Wei Shen is able to leap from the motorcycle onto the car, climbing inside where Ratface is captive. Time to get back to Mrs. Chu for some chopping... Check out the trailer with commentary from Producer Dan Sochan who we interviewed at E3. Sleeping Dogs is out in August.
