Why would people hate on seasame street games? Its a huge kids show and i remember myself and my friends always watching this. Just because we're older now and we think it may not be the "best" show around, dont hate on it. The kids love this and its an actual learning and productive experience for them to watch/play.

I say go for it. If you like it, play it. If not then just mute your mouth :)

People will dismiss these, but I think it's great. In fact, I wish MS would go much, much further and expand to adults. Imagine Rosetta Stone language courses with this kind of interactivity (and Achievements!). Imagine Bill Nye, Brian Cox and Neil Degrasse Tyson "hosting" an interactive all ages Science show, with quiz segments at the end. Imagine the most respected international museums (of any kind) digitized and explorable Disneyland style. What if The Great Courses company made special interactive lectures. And back to kids, Dora, Jumpstart, et cetera. I think it would be brilliant, I'd buy the hell out of those things. Well, not the Dora and stuff, I'm not a kid, but you know what I mean.

yea my nephew is looking forward tot his stuff its not ment for older people its a brillant idea to get kids interacting with things they are familiar with.
Microsoft hit the nail on the head by giving 2 learning, kinect kids shows which is in my eyes exactly what the kinect is good for

I for one really like the look of this, and am excited about it. Shame that Kinect doesn't work so great in my shoe box of a house though.

I also note that this seems to indicate America release, hopefully non Americans will get to play too. I love me some cookie monster.

What because it’s not COD/FIFA/Forza or whatever is the current none innovative console release this gets a thumbs down? It's nice to see something new on our console which opens up to a greater audience.

Anything well implemented and educational IMO is a good thing for the youngsters.

Thats so awesome for younger kids :) looks like a really cool idea . If i would have had this 10 years ago when i was a kid i would have thought it was the best thing in the world . I think kinect really is a good idea they just need to keep expanding it and giving us more unique experiences rather than some 60$ cheap action game trying to imitate games we already have . I also really like what kinect can add to games like the new splinter cell coming out , ghost recon future solider ,and skyrim . I think they are all great ideas and its not forced on you .

Hopefully they'll start doing this with adult shows, like Dexter or Breaking Bad

They're not complaining because of sesame street or nat geo, they're complaining because it's Kinect. They usually hate on how Kinect doesn't focus on core gamers then when a game is announced like Avengers for the Kinect they hate about how developers are making core games that force Kinect on core gamers. Pretty much any article that mentions Kinect is full of comments by people that only tried their Kinect once, never opened it, or don't have one. I'm a core gamer and love my Kinect, it's not the most amazing things in video gaming but it's pretty cool. I'm not gonna hate on it cause developers have put some crappy games out for it or because non gamers like it too. My 4 year old loves it, my wife loves it, even my mom loves it. Oh well, haters are gonna hate.
