I agree the DOW deals are absolutely terrible, but part of me doesn't mind because I always buy dlc I want the day it comes out. Its always annoying when you see it discounted to half price a few weeks after release, it makes me feel completely ripped off. MS should start giving out a 10% discount if you purchase dlc within 24hrs of release because as it is right now, the only incentive a lot of ppl have to buy dlc is when its been out for months and gets a 50% discount.

| @13 I haven't checked Live, so if it's out and it's free, my bad. But typically L4D DLC is free on PC, paid on Xbox. Microsoft don't like companies releasing things with achievements for free, they released the first L4D1 DLC for free without the achievements the PC version got, but every release since has had cheevos and been charged for on 360. |

Honestly Microsoft's whole marketing for the Xbox period is just an insult. Its bad enough both it and Sony overprice their games at retail (60 is 10 bucks too much), but then they continue that with their online store which overprices on games that are at the very least 50 percent crap (seriously look at how many games are bad compared to the good ones). And then as if to slap us in the face more, they offer these 'amazing' deals for games that NO ONE gives two shits about. How about aim for games that people ACTUALLY play. Offer more deals for the Halo maps or CoD. That Bethesda deal the other week was pretty good, offered Shivering Isles for 1200, MUCh more acceptable than the ridiculous price of 2400. Which that in and of itself is bull, considering its a game that came out in 2006 that DLC alone should never have been 2400. At least drop it now that Skyrim is getting DLC.
Microsoft, hear us the gamers and take a note from Nintendo. They offer their newest games no more than 50 bucks, and their games are 5 - 10 bucks, occassionally slightly higher but thats a rare occurence. And guess what, they STILL make a crapload of money. And they do it all WITHOUT ripping off/pissing off/slapping in the face their customers/community.
I'd like to see them turn over a new leaf and actually care about something other than how much more money they can get, like some 13-year old in Cod caring about their K/D ratio. But sadly I dont think that'll ever happen. Never hurts to hope I guess. |

i can say for sure that batman dies at the end of the movie... The cop becomes robin, the female bruce wayne kisses is actually Talia (predictable) and BANE is not Ra'sh's kid (obviously)...
The nuke was about to blow up, so batman tied it to the bat (flying batmobile) and flew it out over the ocean... The viewers think that this is the end of batman, but they go on to say that bruce wayne had gotten the autopilot fixed and he ACTUALLLY SURVIVED!
Who woulda known that to make the Jump he needed to do it without the rope???

| How come none of the other deals for the Games on Demand are ever listed? They have had several daily deals on GoD over the last few weeks with savings between 25%-50%. The deal is in the middle window on the sales page on the dashboard (have to go over 1 or 2 usually the last one). I have gotten Hitman Blood Money for $15 and Darksiders, Dead Space, and Force Unleashed for $10. I know that they have also had Civilization for $15 and Command and Conquer 3 and Oblivion for $10. | Wow, wait... Really? I went to weekly deals on the Xbox dashboard, I saw the AC DLC and tried to scroll over, couldn't and then made a confused face and backed out. |

In other words, these two weeks are pathetic, although I might get the two Guardian of Light add-ons, if their worth it. I'll check it out.
But really, what is MS thinking? They must know that we're aware of how intensely fantastic the Steam deals have been the last few weeks, aren't they embarrassed with this monkey garbage? |
