Konami is setting up a new London studio dedicated to the Pro Evolution Soccer series. The studio "will create PES projects targeting high-end game consoles and PCs." Konami believe that it will allow PES Productions "to continue striving to reproduce European football culture at its best in their games." The publisher is looking for 'skilful' new staff, including designers, artists and programmers. A job advertisement on Gamasutra says, "PES Productions is opening a new ‘Football game productions’ in London in order to continue striving to reproduce European football culture at its best in their games. The production will create PES projects targeting high-end game consoles and PCs." Pro Evo is traditionally developed by PES Productions' Japanese studio. In May it was revealed that Pro Evo producer Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka was not working on the 2013 edition of the game and was instead concentrating on "another game related to the PES franchise."
