Prepare to get your boogie on this autumn, as Microsoft has today revealed the October release date for Dance Central 3, which will be bringing you some retro dance routines to perform, including the 'Hustle' and probably that dance John Travolta does in Saturday Night Fever. You know, the one with all the pointing and stuff.

As well as revealing the release date, Microsoft also unveiled 11 new tracks. There'll be a total of 40 tracks included on the Dance Central 3 disc. Here's the latest eleven, which includes artists like Vanilla Ice and the Village People:

  • 2NE1 – “I Am The Best (Original Version)”
  • Alice Deejay – “Better Off Alone”
  • Backstreet Boys – “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”
  • J.J. Fad – “Supersonic”
  • Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz ft. Ying Yang Twins – “Get Low”
  • LMFAO – “Sexy And I Know It”
  • Los Del Rio – “Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix)”
  • Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera – “Moves Like Jagger”
  • Vanilla Ice – “Ice Ice Baby”
  • Vicki Sue Robinson – “Turn The Beat Around”
  • Village People – “Y.M.C.A.”

Dance Central 3 is out on October 16th in North America and October 19th in Europe and Australasia. Check out Dan's legs and arms-on preview here. Aaaaah, do the Hustle! etc.

As much as I enjoy the odd wee shuffle on this franchise they are going to kill it just like Guitar Hero by releasing sequels too soon. It's great you can import songs etc but I reckon we may not see a Dance Central 4.

Wow 2NE1! I hope original version means it will be in Korean. New game, meh. I would have wanted more DLC for DC2. Little Boots "Remedy" or even "Stuck on Repeat" would have been so much better than "Meddle".
