Ah, the good old movie tie-in. You've got to love 'em, right? No. No you don't. The majority of movie tie-ins are hideous abominations. Crimes against nature. Big steaming poo-poos. So, spare a thought for poor Lee A, who was tasked with reviewing two of them this month. He's currently undergoing counselling and psychiatric treatment.
Leading the charge in this double pack of reviews is The Amazing Spider-Man, which sees ol' webhead returning to the free-roaming gameplay that made Spider-Man 2 an exception to the 'bad movie tie-in' rule. Can Beenox repeat the trick? Next up, you'll find our review of Ice Age: Continental Drift - Arctic Games for Kinect. One for the kids perhaps?
What of these movie tie-ins then? Are we looking at another two stinkers to throw onto the dung heap or two trend-bucking classics? Or one from column A and one from column B?
