| I had intended to skip Black Ops 2. I had even sworn not to buy another Call of Duty game. However, the involvement of Trent, who is a brilliant artist, and Goyer who is a great writer may have just changed my mind. |

| I love that everyone says Goyer wrote the Nolan Batman films. He really didn't. He colaborated with the Nolan brothers. They created the stories. He helped refined them. On his own, he really isn't that good at screenplays. |

| Excellent composer, excellent screenwriter, loving the near-future setting. But, also like a Hollywood blockbuster, it'll be a couple of hours long. Not enough to entice people like myself who enjoy a decent campaign and a waste of good resources for people who only play online anyway. |

| #15 is still butthurt that Inception lost twice to the Social Network's OST. Go listen to the Quake theme and come back and tell me something like that wouldn't be more memorable than an orchestral score.. no matter how well composed. Electronic music is so flexible, as it isn't limited to the same two dozen instruments and hundreds of years of composers who tend to put out similar sounding pieces even if it isn't intended. |

Seems largely pointless when the only music you really hear is the "Level up!" drum and guitar jam session, and the "You Win/Lose!" thing. |

| I'm actually fairly excited for this. I think Black Ops was probably better than MW3, in reality. Trent Reznor, though? The best movie the devs have made as far as the soundtrack goes, was hiring Hans Zimmer for MW2. There were so many epic tracks in that game... The music from the mansion betrayal? The airplane graveyard? Damn. |

@27 15-27? Electronic music unfortunately get's pigeoned holes with crap artists like David Guetta, Avicci & Tiesto. And those artists are far from "techno". If we had quailty artists like Ricard Villalobos, Jeff Mills or Carl Craig doing musical scores for video games, it will blow the minds of every gamer from any age group |

People saying Hans Zimmer is the best ever. The guy re-uses all his old stuff and puts a little tweak here and there and calls it a new song. He's almost as bad as John Williams and the only reason people "love" him is because he actually managed something different for The Dark Knight. Reznor is going to compose something amazing and, @29, there's a campaign and zombies mode which is where you're going to hear it. Still, I can't wait for STONE DEVIL to come along and say something stupid and laughable. Any minute now, folks, he'll be here as sure as the sun rises. |

| Also, small discrepancy in the article. NIN are no more so technically don't have a frontman AND Reznor was much more than just that since he actually wrote, recorded and produced everything and merely hired extra hands to perform live - NIN and TR are synonymous, one and the same! |

I think the biggest draw from all of this is that having trent reznor compose the score for your game can only ADD sales, not take them away. I have nothing against hans but I'd make a bet that the gaming community knows and respects reznor a whole lot more then zimmER. This is a great move for treyarch, just shows there more inclined to change things and mix things up then infinity ward as anything that is seen as a change from the COD make up (Patriotic orchestra ;i) should be veiwed as a positive, even if its just the music. |

Anyways looking forward to this bigtime. |
