As someone who's loved MOH for years can honestly say after watching thias and the new blacks ops vid black ops 2 looks better
of course that's a long way off saying either of them are going to be great games, halo 4's probebly going to be my game of the year this year |

@9 Danger Close is behind all of this, not DICE.
But this doesn't look like it will be a staple in the FPS genre, as most other recent FPS games have been.
Multiplayer will just be a toned down version of BF3's, as the 2010 MoH's was a toned down version of BF:BC2's multiplayer. |

| Not going to slag it off yet as it has not been released yet. However i am currently suffering from fps burnout at the moment. Mw3, battlefield 3, they have same premise with different mechanics. Maybe in a years time i may feel different but we Will see. |

So you make the point of correcting someone who assumed DICE was making the multiplayer for Warfighter... and then claim the multiplayer will be exactly the same as it was the first time around despite it being created by an entirely different developer?
People saying "More of the same," need to actually read the hands-on MP preview on this site. The mechanics they're introducing are not in any other modern military FPS (cooldown special abilities, spawn mechanics, etc). |

Not really. Actual combat situations are usually nothing like this. At least not as consistent as this. In Iraq, Af, etc you don't have people running down the middle of the streets throwing random grenades in the air to kill people, and are constantly turning corners to see an enemy, kill him, then keep sprinting.
Combat may be fast paced, but not what call of duty portrays, which is what @2 what insinuating, I am assuming. |

If we are talking real life here...
1 That's besides the point
2 Combat isn't fast paced, people don't run into fire like cattle anymore like WW1 when no one knew tactics... Many shootouts in the military last +8 hours with maybe 50 bullets actually fired.
But back to the game --- If you've played mw2 you can see how hectic it gets with the killstreaks and the respawns being instant and you can see how many games have been trying to copy the formula for one of the best selling games of all time. |

I fail to see how that refutes it being a rip-off?
CoD ripped off MoH. Then CoD went modern. A few years into modern CoD's success, MoH gets revamped with a modern feel.
Basically, CoD ripped off MoH, made a change and reaped the rewards, so MoH decided to rip off CoD. They're both equally as bad as each other. |

| I'm a sucker for steelbooks but I'm going to hope they will have an overabundance of them and that they go on sale. Can't really justify spending full price on this when there are more original games coming out in the Fall. I'm sure this won't be that bad of a game though, but would much rather prefer BO II if I had to pick. |

| Looks pretty sweet...Crap Ops has nothing to offer. H8RS will hate, while the gamers will play. Get over it, CoD has been ripping off Battlefield for years, and you know what, who cares...they all will sell millions, they all will be fun for some and not for others. At least they continue to improve their game while games like CoD just keep slapping a new skin and calling it new. The last MOH was far more interesting than ANY of the CoD titles, better grittier story and yes....many did like the multiplayer over the generic CoD multiplayer. |

It looks pretty good. Will probably pick it up and play it when I'm in the mood for a more arcade paced fps instead of bf3. Not to mention the last one was really good (sleeper hit if you ask me, esp the single player).
Will watch for a $40-$50 promotion like there always is, then buy it. |

Favorite part of this trailer was one all of the soldiers came out from behind that one soldier...
Hopefully it won't suck as bad as the last multiplayer did...
