Marvel's Hit-Monkey To Be High Moon's First Post-Transformers Title?

Any game starring a monkey is guaranteed gold. That's a stone-cold, irrefutable fact. So, a game based upon a monkey that imitates the behavour of a hitman can be nothing but pure win. Based upon Marvel's Hit-Monkey comic book series launched in 2010, the Hit-Monkey video game could be Transformers: War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron dev High Moon's next big project.

A Hit-Monkey teaser site hitmonkeygame.com, which has since been taken down, suggests that the game will be announced at Comic-Con in San Diego later this week, with the site sporting logos from Marvel, Activision and High Moon.

Nothing more about the game was revealed on the teaser site other than the Hit-Monkey teaser image below, which also carries a 2013 release window. As Shack News notes, all of the pieces seem to fit, so the likelihood that Activision and High Moon reveal Hit-Monkey at Comic-Con, is incredibly high.

	I'm not familiar with the Hit-Monkey series. So what, does he assassinate Drug Dealing Orangutans and Gorilla Kingpins? Either way it sounds awesome and i can't wait to hear more about it!

	Hit-Monkey as new Marvel character to joins Spider-Man, X-Men, Incredible Hulk, Ghost Rider, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow and more. I am exciting new character and see how well he turn out to be in game. Of course he is great on comic but let hope game too. :):) Let hope he add in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 in future. :) Will keep eyes on this new Hit-Monkey game.

	#2 I was just coming in here to say how there should be a Deadpool game. But then again I don't know how you could transfer the writing, which is what makes Deadpool Deadpool, to a video game.

	@9 they could hire the writers of the deadpool comic to write it. it wouldn't be the first time it's happened. as for the game. only time will tell.

	Haven't kept up with comics enough to be knowledgeable about the character. But, the character premise sounds great, and High Moon are a solid development studio. I'm glad to see Marvel is keeping its IP's out of Sega's hands.

	#12 it's not so much the actual writing, but how it's presented. Deadpool's stuff is so spontaneous. Especially the Joe Kelly stuff, in my opinion the best writer the character has had. Actually I guess, provided they'd be willing to do a lot of audio work, you could have 'Pool talking throughout gameplay and stuff. But it couldn't be catchphrases, it'd have I be dynamic.

	@20 how will the company make money if they only worked on Transformers? Thats like say RS should only make Batman games n not other DC heroes. I personally think they should work on other things I wouldnt want there employees getting board.

	Hit-Monkey hasn't even had a comic series, Only a one-shot & mini-series do your research whoever wrote the article
