Named after the band's singer songwriter Chris Daughtry, rock outfit Daughtry made their debut in the music world six years ago, garnering the fastest-selling debut album in SoundScan history, four Grammy nominations and four number one hits since then.

Next week, Daughtry will be making their Rock Band debut with a triple-pack of songs, which opens with the first single from the band's self-titled 2006 debut album. The pack then continues with a track from the band's 2009 album 'Leave This Town', and then concludes with a song from 2011 album, 'Break the Spell'.

2009 track "No Surprise" also comes with an optional Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade. Check out the trio of tunes right here:

Daughtry Pack 01 - 440 Microsoft Points (160 Microsoft Points each. X = 80 Microsoft Points per track for a Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade O= support for keyboards)

  • Daughtry – “It’s Not Over”
  • Daughtry – “No Surprise” O X
  • Daughtry – “Crawling Back to You” O

(All tracks are original master recordings)

Look out for them on the Xbox Live Marketplace from July 10th.

They need to make a huge daughtry pack cuz theres so many good tracks but the one I think they really missed out on is "Crashed" from the first album. That wouldve made it a must buy for me.

I agree that Rock Band's DLC is clogging the new releases lists, but don't you think it's rather selfish to make them stop producing new DLC just for that small, insignificant reason? I would support to remove Rock Band tracks from the new releases list, but Rock Band is NOT shit. It's fanbase has just been whittled down to only the hardcore players now, and we're waiting for a come back. It's just a matter of time.

I dont know why people complain about rock bands music cluttering up the xbox marketplace on this site. Xbox has a twitter account, you could do more there.

- there's always the option of searching for individual games by letter. And those trials / full songs are from Rock Band Network. They're distributed through Rock Band but are created by the song owners, not Harmonix.

RBN network songs used to not show up in the general xbl marketplace new releases. It should go back to that. I don't mind the few actual rock band songs a week, but all of the darn RBN songs every week is a bit much.

Generic radio rock, in my opinion. However, it will probably sell well on whatever merits it may or may not possess, so that's a good thing for Rock Band and Harmonix!

@6, I think we should all just agree to respond to your comment next week or the week after that, when you post the same thing again, and again...and again! Oh, and again...

I agree that RB3 is clogging the new release window, but:
-It's hardly Harmonix's fault. Blame MS's stupid system.
-Are you really using the new release menu? It's terrible, and even without RB3 stuff there, it would be much easier to simply read a weekly DLC roundup article.

As for the songs themselves, I pass. I'm okay when they release DLC I don't want to buy, but the past two weeks have been just atrocious for me.

@17, given how much the rhythm genera has suffered in the past couple of years I doubt we'll be seeing Rock Band 4 anytime soon, next year at the absolute earliest. But we do have Rock Band Blitz coming out by the end of the summer. It's an XBLA game that has 25 new songs, plus can import all the old DLC. It sounds like the 25 songs will also be playable in Rock Band 3.
