Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Japan Expo Trailer Introduces Alex, Tiger and Others

Will Tekken Tag Tournament 2 have every Tekken character ever on its roster? At this rate, it certainly looks likely, as Namco Bandai has today revealed an additional four Tekken stalwarts for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, starting with everyone's favourite boxing velociraptor, Alex.

Boxing kangaroo Roger's alternate outfit option, Alex is a zippy little fighting dinosaur and not the only alternate costume character in the trailer. There's Prototype Jack, who's the first build of the Jack we all recognise with synthetic skin. P. Jack is shiny and metallic and favours more stompy moves than his more advanced counterpart.

Then there's Tiger Jackson, who was an unlockable extra outfit for Eddy Gordo in Tekken 3. In TTT2 he returns with a bigger afro and an outfit that's even more ludicrously outlandish, with lights and rainbow colours all over his garish get-up. And last but not least, there's Marshall Law's son Forest Law, which means you can have a tag team comprised of father and son.

Check out the trailer below. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is out in September 2012. Give our hands-on preview a read for more.

Definitely thinking about picking this up. Currently beating seven shades out of my cousins on Tekken 5 who only use Nina and Asuka, with randomly selected characters. Julia's just tuuuurrrrrrible.

Juggling characters in mid air has always looke so stupid. Spammers dream. I'll stick to street fighter where the juggling is rare, and if pulled off, looks good. Not like 5 to 10 seconds in Tekken.

@8 Don't thumbs up or down.

I'm still debating whether I should get this game or not.

Heh. Hell, yeah, Alex is back. As cool as it was, putting Dinosaur armor on a Kangaroo in Tekken 6, it just wasn't the same.
