Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has been delayed, Namco has announced. Promising "stunning environments, more diverse sniper challenges, a rebuilt AI system and the 'one shot; one kill' precision that made the original a worldwide hit," the sequel will now release on October 9th. It had previously been listed for a 21st August release date.

| This is probably the worst thing they could have done, it will now release around the same time the heavy hitting AAA games will start releasing and as such will loose alot of sales. I was gonna play this in August then have time to complete it ready for the big games, now its just a rental sometime in 2013. They should delay it until January as not much will be out then. | ||

| @3 - First of all, the game actually requires precision, so why would that be perfect for noobs? Second, I've noticed that most people that trash talk CoD is because they're not very good at it. BF and CoD are the same game in essence. The only difference is the speed of the game, and the use of vehicles. The part that always gets me is why people trash any game. Nobody is forcing you to play it, so just don't play it, and you'll never have to worry about "CoD noobs". Now on topic. The sniping in the first one was good. But for a game that says "sniper" in the title, there were levels that you didn't even touch a sniper. Get rid of those and you have a decent game. I hope the 2nd one is a little longer as well, a 6 hour campaign is too short. | ||

| Why has it even been delayed, it's like the publisher was st00pid enough to go, 'yeah let's just delay it and compete with games like Assassin's Creed 3, Black Ops 2, Halo 4, Resident Evil...' Seriously what a st00pid move. | ||

| Was the first one any good? I really liked Sniper Elite V2, and wouldn't mind a more modern Sniper game to go with it. I hope they at least release a demo for this. | ||

| @13 It wasn't that great. I rented it for the achievements. I feel like they had a goal but it just didn't come out like they wanted it. Terrible AI. Like you could be sneaking through a ton of underbrush, and the enemies had pinpoint precision and practically x-ray vision. Also has a health-kit based health system (think Dead Island) but without regenerating health. Story was pretty awful too. Literally, it just...ended. So maybe rent it just to play it. But don't expect anything too great. | ||

| it looks like the most improved sequel to a game i have seen in a long time, gutted its been delayed but hopefully they polish and tweak it quite a bit, this game is a potential underdog for game of the year, plus the graphics are outstanding. | ||

| + why is there always the odd cunt who has to mention bf3, which if anyone has tried to play the shambles of a story mode would know he hasn't played most fps games that are available, and if its the only game you are going to play enjoy being the only one playing it when far cry, cod, ac3 and sniper gw come out | ||
