Not like we'd get either game in the near future. I cant remember a game thatwas released the same year it was announced.
If it was announced tomorrow,i'd pencil it in for next christmas at the earlist most likely. |

| I know alot of people didn't like rage for some reason, but I thought it was a solid game. It was a little linear but I liked the combination of shooting, driving and engineering new items. Definitely looking forward to new content or a sequel. |

| @6 Rage had great shooting mechanics. But I was hoping for more of an open world settings and less errand-boy tasks... Oh yeah, and the ending felt like they just chopped production and decided to finish the game off lol. But yeah, the game was fun! |

| @6 Rage was a good game. Graphics, gameplay, sound and the achievements were all solid imo. The problem for me was the story never really grabbed me. Will definetly give Rage 2 a twirl if they do it but I just hope they improve on the writing/story. |

| @11 I think it is a game that everyone should play, it generally is a solid game. With a very good balance between driving, RPG and FPS action, it tries something new and it works out very well. The only thing I would say would be the lack of a story, the length is good but half the time I found the story to be non existent. It really is a game to check out though, considering id Software's reputation with FPS games (more or less inventing the genre) it is a game worth playing. |

Oh, they remember Rage now? Because they sure as shit forgot about when it was time to finish the rest of the game. Ending in the middle of a fucking mission is so retarded.
Oh, and they also forgot about it when they were coding proper textures. I have a top of the line gaming PC with the latest drivers for everything and that mother fucker still spent 2 or 3 seconds looking like a goddamn N64 game every time I turned the camera (which is all the time in an FPS). |

| Doom 4 would be fantastic! Besides Gears, Doom is probably the only shooter franchise which next installment I'd buy on launch. (Knock on wood I didn't forget anything painfully obvious.) |

@11 rage was really enjoyable. racing was a bit infuriating but I started on hardcore...and missed two cards for an achievement and had to start from an early save.
The sewer mission dlc was short & pointless (if it allowed you to access old ares to get missing cards it might have been something) but other than that it was definitely fun.
picking up doom BFG edition too, hated no.3 with either flash light or gun option but now they've put a light in the suit (they still don't have duct tape in doom 3 I guess :p) I think I can cope with enemys re-spawning in rooms I had cleared a minute ago. |

| that is excellent news. for me id could use the same graphics, enemies, weapons, sound effects and especially the music from doom 1/2. just give me 40 new maps to play. gameplay this good never gets old. |

Honestly I don't really want a Rage sequel. I think they should bring back the Quake franchise and expand on the nasty cliffhanger that was at the end of Quake 4.
I have no complaints however, towards Doom 4. I'm really excited that's finally going to get released in the near future. |

Yes of course, I am one of who excite about those franchises to returns. I am so exciting for DOOM 3 with package extra stuffs then DOOM 4 and RAGE 2 on way in future. :):):)
Oh maybe Bethesda will get Fallout 4 sooner then we have awesome games from Bethesda. :):)
