| @2 Because they probably work solely on the Xbox, and minecraft is an indie game (albeit a vastly successful one). Doesn't seem that impossible to me. |

@2 maybe because they don't care about games that are primarily aimed at teenagers and children...

as has already been pointed out Minecraft was very much an indie game on the PC, still is really. only the Xbox release has really put it in the limelight of a wider audience. But still 2 million copies in a month, well done mojang. But I'd still like to see an update sometime soon, I got excited about the one recenlty but it didn't seem to do much besides updating some blocks and NOT ADDING PISTONS!!!! |

| @4, they don't care about games that are primarily aimed at teenagers and children? Really? Let's not get into the debate over how many pre-pubescent kiddies you come across in the likes of Call of Duty and FIFA and what-not, how about all those Kinect games with cute, little fluffy animals, awwww? Tell me that's genuinely aimed at 'adult' gamers and I will happily munch on my hat, good sir. |

| if u read the article it says they were surprised by it coming to xbox, is what i understood not that they didnt know what it was. it was a quick decision and alot of people inside the company didnt know that microsoft was going to develop a minecraft game. if you people are so quick to bash microsoft then just buy a playstation and use linux. |

@12 the article explicitly quotes: "Even the people inside Microsoft, as they were looking at it, were thinking, ‘What is that Minecraft thing'" you are clearly putting a spin on the article that doesn't belong by saying they knew what minecraft was but merely didn't know it was coming to the 360. perhaps you should read the article a little more carefully before starting posts with "if u read the article" |

@22 'Even the people inside Microsoft, as they were looking at it, were thinking, ‘What is that Minecraft thing and why are we putting it on stage?,”' I realise you must hold your staggering ability to read Titles in high regard, but anyone with the most basic understanding of the English language should be able to understand how that quote right there could be interpreted in such a way that hints M$ hadn't heard of Microsoft. |

@24, I think they were referring to the graphic that was created the night before. I can't imagine anyone in the industry (a) not knowing what minecraft is and (2) calling minecraft "that minecraft thing" And I'm pretty sure they've heard of their own company. |

| No offense, but anyone who hadn't heard of Minecraft before the Xbox360 release is not connected to gaming news in any way. The game was in beta when it hit its popularity, and has been a full PC game release since November 18, 2011. The alpha of the game came out in 2009. Don't be stupid. |

@25 I'm not saying that's what the statement implies, I'm just pointing out how one could view it in such a fashion. The arrogant tone of the other guy just incensed me to do so, by making it sound as if anyone who thought as such was 'an imbecile', when it's pretty obvious, and somewhat logical, how someone could come to such a conclusion. Also, heh. That last word was supposed to be Minecraft. Should probably proof-read my comments more. My bad :P |

| @ ash356 It was an arrogant tone. The people before were ridiculing Microsoft employees for not knowing what Minecraft is. The sentence can be read as such, I agree. But people should be smart enough to use common sense and context clues to figure out that that is not the case. The writers of these articles are adults who write their articles like adults. If people want to be less than intelligent and rant and spread their idiocy, I for one am going to point it out and hope they learn something. |

@35 Your point might be valid, if it were not for the fact that the source article has a totally different title: 'Minecraft XBLA was a rushed deal before E3, says Spencer'. Thus, considering this is the source article, it is obviously more reliable than the title of the article that cited it, i.e, this one (X360A). I agree that the people may be in the wrong for ridiculing Microsoft, but I still feel you have no right exerting an attitude of higher intelligence, especially given the fact that the two titles suggest totally different ideas. |

| @ash356 You and I have every right to feel however we want. Its our rights as human beings. Saying you don't feel I have the right to feel a certain way just shows how restrictive your thinking is. I don't care about the article or its title. It's an interesting read and I enjoyed it for the little pieces of info it shared. What bothers me is the people who run their mouths about shit they don't even truly understand. What makes it worse is, all the information they needed on the subject at hand is right in front of them. I have been a gamer all my life, nearly 30 years, and I am getting sick and tired of all these idiots trying to make themselves feel better because of their stupity. Rise above yourself. Make yourself better. You seem an intelligent person, stop defending ignorance. |
