| Just to add a pinch of hope to the concern with the sawed off, Cliff has acknowledged that the sawed off was a huge mistake. In regards to the screen shot, The game isn't finished yet, so my guess is they just needed something in cole's hands and used an old weapon to simplify things. |

Cliff also mentioned that he hated Raven Down, and it made it's way into Gears 3. (And yes, the most troubling part is that the game isn't finished yet- and that the Boomshot is only a placeholder for a mysterious weapon. Then again, I doubt the DBS would be a problem in Overun.) Problem would be in MP :p
Just to add a pinch of... despair. :D

@6, Bulletstorm was an amazing game. Only problem was that the campaign was quite short and not many playing MP on it. But the game was a fresh concept and the controls were very fluent. People always moan about sequels/prequels and want new IPs, but when new games come out, people slate them and want a new version of the games that they enjoy playing! Game developers cannot please everyone, so maybe it's for the best that you don't buy GoW, when it's released!
Cant wait to see some gameplay of this, looking forward to seeing more on the MP and what other modes they are going to introduce to the series :D |

I enjoyed Bulletstorm's campaign more than GoW3.
hope that People Can Fly do something to freshen up GoW's gameplay or else I'm not buying. |

| Everyone complains about the sawed off...it's really not that big of a deal; you can counter it so easily. It has no range and you can tell the person is holding it...I'm not worried about it being a starting weapon but I would be alright if it was a pick up weapon on the map. They only said it was a mistake because everyone complained and turned the game off, not because it really was a game breaker, it was because people just didn't want to change. If they even said that, please someone post proof of Cliff saying that it was a mistake or that it won't be in Judgment...I'd like to read or see it... |

| DBS ain't so much of a big deal anymore, yeah its cheap as hell but not as cheap as the Retro lancer, short range retro stab and pray and spray is annoying as fuck, true dedicated servers will never happen, but looking forward to what they do with the campaign, multi should be interesting with the class system. I enjoyed bullet storm, the skill kills were funny as hell so really looking forward to what people can fly do with this. |

Cliffy B said he regrets ever putting that gun in the game and should he wishes he could go back in time to change the fact that its in the game. so it might be in the game but i honestly don't think it will be in classic multiplayer if that is how he feels about the whole thing. |

| @22 that's what signs are pointing to. And to the people complaining about no new 360 IPs, what if Microsoft is hording a crapload a new games for the next box? That's what it will take to win the next round of consoles. Probably not I know but a guy can wish. It would increase early sales to have a bunch of exclusives lined up after launch. |

| I never played a ton of MP in Gears 3, but I never suffered the sawed off that much, if I saw someone with it and they werent near me, I just unloaded my lancer into them, no way they could get to me with it before I killed them, not to mention the few times they missed with the sawed off and I sawed off their body parts. |

Why are people complaining about the Sawed-Off? It's a terrible weapon that feels more like a handicap to use then anything else, even before they nerf'd it.

| I have to be honest, with this release date being so soon, I've lost intrest in buying this game if it's true, I have no intrest in buying a game thats thrown together in just over a year, I'd rather gears only continued in other formats, a prequal was expected, but I also expected effort to be put into the game, a proper development period like a game should have thats adding to an established series. |

| I think that if this 'might' be the last of Gears of War games they shouldn't name the seriously achievement "seriously 4.0" and something cool like "dead serious" and make it achievable for people who don't play the game 4h a day before they release a new game. |

I don't think MS will release this game 3-4 months after Halo 4 releases, too soon imo. I'd be willing to be it will release between September and November.
@41 Where do you get this game has been thrown together in just over a years time? Has Epic or PCF mentioned when they started development of the game? Also, don't forget that date isn't set in stone or official, it's a rumor, and it's still 8 months away, a lot can change by then.

| @43, generaly, the game just isn't attracting me, it may of been in the works for a while, but still, it's just not getting me like the trilogy did personly. Might just be the missing music based trailers that the others had, to get me hooked, but either way, I'll wait until it's cheap, how cheap will depend on feedback from it. |

I don't know feb 2013 does not feel right for a gears game. I think it will slip to sep 2013 and if you think about it there is a lot of AAA title out next year for 360 so what games do we play on the new xbox at x-mas 2013.
I'm going to put my neck on the line & say the next xbox will not be out until
2014 say march 14 2014. |
