I assumed this game was just going to be another re-hash of the poor, free-roaming style of the previous Spidey titles, but this is very impressive. As much as it takes a similar approach to Arkham gameplay, as the article states, "It can only be a good thing." I can't not rent this at least now. |

| The best thing they could do to the Spidey series is model it over Batman. |

| If Arkham is going to be the new standard in Super Hero video games, then that's def. a good thing! |

| The combat doesn't look as fluid as Arkham Asylum's/City's but the stealth approach is pretty nifty. |

I saw this coming since I heard the game had a more freerome element to it, and to be honest, I welcome it, because spiderman is a brawler, and what better was to go then look at a defining superhero game. This aspect has got my intrest, but I'm going to wait to see |

| I've played the first couple of missions and this game has already impressed me.. I've played every spiderman game there is and I wasn't a huge fan of the Beenox games until this one. You should all support it by purchasing so that they know they are on the right track and the next one will AMAZE!! |

| @ Comment #14 . Coming from someone who played it, Yes, they definitely took things from Arkham, but only ideas, not gameplay. the feel of everything is different but it still pulls off Arkham's good looks. This is a good thing for superhero games.. Also, it's PIDERMAN |

Game is repetitive and gets boring, according to reviews the film isn't much better either. Gonna avoid both until its on blu-ray. |

| @14, you obviasly don't know either marvel or dc that well, they have pulled idea's from one another for decades, this is only a good thing in this case, using a similar system, at least should make it enjoyable. |

| #20 What game isn't repetitive these days, I'm so sick of this excuse, now COD, that's repetitive, not just the game, the whole damn franchise. Reviewers and I'm guessing your talking about IGN because that's the only reviews I've seen where it says that about the game and movie have something jammed up their arse or didn't get enough $ for adspace. This site is a lot more honest with it's reviews so I'm waiting to hear from them. IGN gave lollipop a 5 which is just ridiculous, I agreed more with this site's review. Thats just a recent example |

ppl complaining that the stupid boring spiderman games actually adopt a proven fun and enjoyable game style!? oh noes its no surprise that Shattered Dimensions developers made this, cause they already had implements of the indoors Arkham games with the old 1940s stealth spiderman parts(which was the only fun part of that game, the rest was the same crap all the spiderman games have) this game was pretty dope, and its already sold more than last years Edge of Time by almost double on both 360 and PS3 and its only been out a month, which was half as much as Shattered Dimensions sold in 2010, so clearly the fans like the different direction that Beenox is taking the Spider-man universe and i dont see any new Batman Arkham games coming out this year or announced so idk why ppl would complain, now we just need a proper X-men game |

| Having only just seen the film I have only just checked this game out. Might have to pick it up now, I think it looks good. I am with the people who think AA and AC should become the standard method for Superhero games, they are great games and everyone should thank Rockstar for re-envisioning Superhero games which before hand were appalling. A spidey game like a batman game, that sounds like a win to me. |
