Seriously there is a huge demand for this game who wouldn't want in on that, and if it runs on gface chances are it won't come to xbox :( |

| Why no publisher want this game? It would sell. I know I and many of my friends would buy it for sure. Loved the series and would love another. Just this micro transaction bollocks does not interest me though. The free part of the game is likely 2 levels and 2 characters. The rest you buy. The gaming industry will end up like these crappy facebook games my g/f plays. |

No publishers want this, I'm guessing its because of the F2P, were the Dev would get all/most of the money from the Microtransactions, while the publishers gets a smaller of cash due to the lack of actual retail sales.
This F2P thing is a pretty neat idea, but not across the whole platform maybe one or two here and there but if every game turns into this shit then, as they would say on dragons den.... I'm Out. |

| I find it hard to believe that no publishers want to publish this. How about the little known publishers? Codemasters? I'm not convinced that Crytek has tried lately to get a publisher, maybe back in 2008 when Free Radical tried but it's 2012 now, try again. The market has changed slightly since then. |

Crytec are some of the most stupid...
Timesplitters4 would sell very well if given a proper release, its in massive demand by fans, and could be so easy to put together well when compared to other games. The coments that are coming out from there are givinng them pleanty of attention... just the wrong sort of attention... they're making them self's hated.
Free to Play will destroy the games industry if that models adopted as the lead way of distribution. It might start all well, then something like CoD comes along again, and takes the piss, then everything else does, then less popular titles make no money after trying to copy, developers get into debt, then shut down, only lead giants make profits, gamers with half a brain are left unhappy and ticked off. |

| @23, didnt spot this on my first read but crytek shoudlnt use a kickstarter and if they tried anyone giving money to them would deserve shooting they are just too big of a company, kickstarters are great foir indies and smaller studios that cant actually afford to make games theywant and the public wants but none of the big studios should ever be allowed to even think about it |

I hope this game gets some light. I loved the Timesplitters series. The 2nd one felt like a successor to Goldeneye 007 64 based on how the game play felt. It's sad to see publishers not give any interest in a game franchise that has a lot of potential in both originality and gameplay. I hope Timesplitters 4 does become free to play and honestly I think the model works if done right (TF2 being a great example).
As for HD remakes of the original Timesplitters games, I'm down for it as long as they are treat those remakes with respect. No new voice acting (looking at you Silent Hill HD re releases) and keep every game in the collection (looking at you again Silent Hill). |

I agree with most of the comments. There is no logical reason for them to say that no one wants to make this. There are companies that publish yearly junk with the sole purpose of making minor monetary gain. Why wouldn't they want to support something that actually has the possibility of being a big hit with massive monetary gain?
Let me put it this way: you make it and I'll buy it, plus a million other people would buy it.
We just have to hope that you do it well with everything the previous games had to offer. |

| I think Timesplitters 4 could come as a launch title for the next xbox. Microsoft and Crytek have some kind of partnership deal, so I think its quite possible MS is founding it and these statements are just there to test the market. |
