| not sure how this dlc is going to be.. Rage's campaign was fairly linear, so I wonder where they're going to implement this storyline/addon content. Still, looking forward to hearing more about this. |

i want to know what bethesda's/id's plans are for this IP. i'm assuming the story was written with a sequel in mind. i'll pick up the DLC regardless, but what i really want from rage is a continuation of the story... |

| Go this dirt cheap when I bought BF3. Played it, liked it but never finished it. It's worth sod all at trade in so I'm even more inclined to hold onto to it to see what this DLC is about. |

Out of the blue! I've been wondering if I should give this game a second try, it came out at a really busy release time and just fell to the side. I'm sure you all care to know that. Look at me, you're still reading this, amazing. |

Loved RAGE, a great throwback to the shooters of yesteryear and made for a nice change of pace. Naturally I am looking forward to the DLC and hope that a sequel is on the cards. |

| LOL @7 - I'm the same - Only played this for a few hours thanks to a massive backlog but thoroughly enjoyed it. Will have to get back into it over the summer drought along with the Skyrim DLC |

@7 It's buyable at the time. I bought it again for 12€ (which might translate to less than 15 USD) Although if it comes, it's ridicilously late. It's almost the same as releasing DLC for Perfect Dark Zero, or a short add-on for King Kong the Game :') |

| I would really like them to make another Rage game but this time much more open world like the fallout/elder scrolls games. Rage was great fun and clearly has alot of potential. |

| Hopefully they make an Ultimate edition or something :P Not sure if they will do it for a game like this, but I heard something about a Homefront Ultimate edition, so anything could happen. Looks like a cross between Borderlands and Fallout, my 2 favorite games, so even if I pick it up cheap this looks like it could be cool. |

| Yes, yes, YES! I was just thinking last week how great it would be for RAGE to get add-ons :P Since every other ID game seems to lack them :/ which is a missed opportunity for them, still though; this will rock!!! |

| I enjoyed the gameplay of Rage, but the story and complete lack of an ending thouroughly turned me off from keeping the game. Now Bethesda wants to wait a year and release a DLC for it after a majority of buyers sold the game. They better hope the DLC doesn't have achievements or there is going to be a lot of pissed off consumers. |

| I'll probably end up getting it but it's a little late. While I did like the game I just don't care about it anymore. Had they released it sooner after the release of the game I think I would be more excited for it. |

Too late. Surely most people who wanted this game have now got rid of it, obviously apart from the people who waited until it was dirt cheap. What are the odds that bargain hunters will pay for more content? |

I really loved the game and the gameplay was sublime but it was very linear and although I still have the game, I'm just not as excited about it as I was when I was a while back. It's been a ridiculously long time for some DLC. Bethesda waiting this long to give us a big expansion for Skyrim is fine but considering that dawnguard will be substantially longer than RAGE's campaign (on the highest difficulty), I doubt this DLC will be very long at all which begs the question-Why so long? |

Hopefully this won't have achievements attached, as others have said, too little too late. Game was pretty boring anyway ... with a pretty pathetic ending. |

| Seems I'm one of the only people who kept the game for its content and not to play and sell for the achievement list. I love getting achievements but I will never let them limit the games I play. This game is definitly a keeper IMO, I welcome the DLC, regardless of how late it is. |

Amazing. Really had given up up on this. ID has never seemed like they were able to work on more then one project at one time...How are they doing this, getting the Doom3 special edition out and getting Doom 4 ready for release? Has Bethesda given them enough money to triple staff?!?! |

| New dlc for THE MOST TECHNICALLY ADVANCED GAME ON CONSOLES TODAY? Awesome! Say what you will about the story, this game runs and looks stunning on the 360 when it's installed. Wish I could say the same for ps3, but then again, 90% of their multiplatform titles are gimped anyway you look at it. |

| I have beaten RAGE 3 times with 100% completion each time, I know the game inside and out, and have gotten all but 1 achievement which I will soon have, and when I saw this article about a new dlc, I was interested. But when I read that "The Scorchers refers to a clan that was cut from the game during development," I saw a fallacy. Anyone who has played the game and payed close enough attention to small details would know that the area where you access the Dead City is the "Scorcher Territory," and the cars you fight in the Scorcher Territory are Scorcher bandits. The only reason the author may think they were cut from the game during development is because unlike pretty much all the other bandit clans, the Scorchers don't have their own "dungeon" area and quest series related to them. But that doesn't mean that they still aren't in the game, because they are. All the participation they have in the game is just as enemy cars to destroy, though. Just saying, though, I don't wanna be or sound like a prissy freakin' know-it-all. |
