Wow, Activision love whoring out this game don't they. Can't really see what Neversoft will do with this though, because as said in the article, all they've really ever done are THPS/GH games and they're completely different to a FPS of CoD standards.
Could be a XBLA gain, with skateboards to get around and button combinations to shoot? |

As much as the 'fanboy' police will hate this on here, I have always been a fan of the CoD series and yes it has gotten somewhat repetitive of late but I have always loved the realism and pseudo real world feel.
I am sorry but these future settings just smack of Halo to me...and that is where my love for this series will die, Halo is even more criminal in it's fanboy loyalty and lack of any real development in every title that has been released, and I am not standing for a CoD clone of an over rated average game......negative comment away people....the very mention of the fact that anyone likes CoD on here always brings the haters out of the wood work, watch those red numbers build and me fade to a pale grey.... |

| Let's face it, there could be ten more Call Of Duty games in development and no matter how much people bitch and moan about it, people are still going to buy it because it has Call Of Duty in the title. They could have 'Call Of Duty: Barbie's Next Adventure' and it will probably break sales records because people are loyal to the brand... That and people seem to care more about multiplayer these days, which is a shame since developers seem to crap out a campaign and the only care about multiplayer. I personally prefer a brilliant campaign over multiplayer any day. Anyway back on topic... Booooo. |

| I'm guessing it might be either a handheld or mobile COD game. Don't really think they'd trust the franchise to someone with no FPS experience, and I also don't see more than one proper COD being released per year. I dunno, we'll see. |

| I feel like Neversoft is going to either join with Infinity Ward at some point or be expected to replace them. With Infinity Ward a shell of who they once were (if you played MW3) you know what I mean, someone needs to pick up the slack and show initiative with new ideas for the series and the brain dead chimp used to replace all the guys sacked in the ridiculous lawsuit going on clearly isn't getting the job done. Hate what Neversoft represents but I'm intrigued with what they will do. Just because another developer is being put on the project doesn't necessarily mean they will be issuing more copies more frequently. |

I know it would probably be a bad move to move the franchise to the far future but i really cant see that having about a million different black ops or modern warfare games would make it any better than the future suggestion.
The only other type of war that i would see the game being put back to world war 1 or past wars because i loved the world war 2 games but they used that to death. The only problem I would see in putting it in the past would be that all the little kid fan boys will rage about not having automatic weapons. |

| Maybe Activision is really trying to piss off all its customers so they can win most despised company in the U.S. because EA Games (Their Rival) stole that spot from them? COD is probably the most repetitive game in history. Same gameplay, same graphics engine re-skins, same s*** in general. I don't see what's so great about it when a company releases a new game every year with the same basic principles. Then again, it's America. Just look at our educational system. I'm not saying this includes everyone, but the majority of people that play COD are usually the real life trouble making idiots in society. This really does explain why someone could buy such a poor product that always gets top ratings when it's the same crap. |

| some time in the future i see call of duty biting activision in the arse and not selling well hence the downfall of the series, obviously that day is not upon them yet, as much as i like call of duty i only play it now for the single player because in my opinion the multiplayer is the same shit each release just different maps and weapons and because i enjoy the single player over multiplayer, i used to love multiplayer, i guess it didnt help running around getting shot up by FUCKING campers.... |

| Will some one explain to me why so many people think MW3 is poor compared to mw2 or black ops? (cod 4 is the best of the lot not argument). I look at W@W black ops and black ops 2 and all I see are dark grey/brown colours and tonnes of glitches, shit sounding gameplay and just generally poorer quality games than Mw. A few things. First, why are all the posts in this story going all the way to the right off the screen? Second, I'm not usually one to pick on other people's English because I know we all make mistakes and for some English isn't their first language, but this I've been seeing this same thing a lot in the stories on this site. "Neversoft are" That is wrong. Neversoft is a single entity, so it should be Neversoft is. It doesn't matter that it's made up of several people, the company itself is a single entity so you use is. You don't say "Red Team are winning" you say "Red Team is winning."
Thirdly, we're really getting an announcement about another COD being made before Black Ops 2 is even out yet? Really? I wonder if they're going to be replacing Infinity Ward. Or does this mean we'll have three studios making CODs, with each studio now getting three years to make their COD instead of two years? |

I remember the time before CoD... the time when I use to be young... oh say 10 years ago... back when I use to play with friends outside, pretending sticks where guns and all kinds of things...
... That was alot more fun then CoD. Kids should go outside where there's still wooded area's... its alot more fun, and you can generaly learn alot... instead of all the kids buying CoD... if they went out and did that, then it wouldn't sell so well, and then the issue that all core gamers have with CoD will be gone, with the games getting longer development times, and the games industry no longer looking like a joke. |
