E3 2012: Medal of Honor: Warfighter Gameplay Strikes

Medal of Honor: Warfighter

EA has just shown some campaign gameplay from Medal of Honor: Warfighter on stage at its E3 press conference. In a demo from the game, we saw a brown level in a decimated Somalian city. The squad were on the trail of a pirate. Arrrr!

The player slipped beneath water when shot on the beach, was showered with debris when the environments crumbled under gunfire and was swamped by dust when buildings crumbled. It all looked rather nice, from a technical perspective. But then it was Frostbite Engine 2.

The rest was pretty much expected military shooter territory. Later in the demo the player took control of a powerful attack drone bot thing. Attack drones are the new hotness. Everyone is at it. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is out on October 23rd, 2012.

	Metal of Honer and Battlefield are great games. Call of Duty is dust in the wind.

	Bever played the first one unfortunately, this looks good though. May haps i maybe swayed into playing this one ? :)

	The first one was average. Multiplayer was alright, great even, as long as you played 'Combat Mission', everything else was generic shooter copied from CoD. Saying that, CoD MP itself has become absolute drivel. Poor oversaturated FPS market... QQ

	I'm surprised Lee hasn't mentioned the radial menu that came up when the player was room-breaching, looked like a fresh idea, with multiple options for breaching (shotgun, c4, etc) but then further options within that. Looked interesting

	@3 Because people take you seriously when you spell owns with a 'z' and your username is CODownz. Go troll the IGN forums and leave the good games to us big boys. OT: I thought the original MoH was a very underrated game. I enjoyed the MP for the most part minus the instant spawn and copious number of snipers. Looking foward to this one.
