@3 NetherRealm didn't work on MK vs DC. This is also done in a 2D format, so no side strafing crapfests.
THIS is what MK vs DC should have been. I'm sure this will be a lot better. |

I guess we're just gonna have to pretend that Superman, and especially the Flash, couldn't just immediately destroy all the other people.
Especially Harley Quinn.
Looks really good though, and I look forward to seeing more of the roster. I'm sure one of the Green Lantern's (probably Hal Jordan) would be a great fighter to use. |

| If it's like MK9 with DC characters, I have complete faith in it. MK vs DC wasn't horrible but it was sluggish and lacking and some characters were a bit broken (Flash, Superman). This one looks like they took some of the good parts of that game and integrated them into the 2D MK format. If they put in the same amount of effort into story, modes, extras, and gameplay as in MK9 then I'm sure it'll be great. |

| @6 During the rendered part you can see Luthor (in armor) being hit by Superman's angry eye beams. I'm sure they're going to focus on pitting in Justice League heroes and villains specifically. There is no way you won't see Green Lantern. Martian Manhunter is probably a guarantee also since they were planning him for DLC in MK vs DC but had to scrap everything. Darkseid would be a cool choice for this game as well. |

It's an INJUSTICE putting Wonder Woman in pants.
All jokes aside, I am looking forward to this and hoping for a solid product. I still play MK9 and even have it for the Vita. I hope they offer classic costume unlocks and such as well. Also hoping for a huge roster of both heroes and villians.
Please give us Blood and an M rating! |

I don't want Gore, just blood. I see a little in the screenshots, but lets be honest. The comics show plenty of blood and I am sick of seeing awesome concepts ruined by making it better for children.
Adults still enjoy Super Heroes and want more mature content. I don't need Sex and Gore for it to feel mature.

@4 Actually NetheRealm technically did work on MK vs DC because most of NetherRealm is made up of ex Midway employee's who made Mk vs DC, not to mention the fact that Ed Boon is making it who is also the guy who co-made the origingal MK's and the main leader of the MK9.
That said MK vs DC wasn't that bad so if this is anything like MK9 then we can expect good things.
And @25 I believe I heard somewhere Batman has a special suit in this to compete with the more superhuman characters. Not entirely sure yet though. |

#26 is right except technically it was also called Warner Bros. Chicago during the time of MK/DC before the name change. Practically the employees who were there at the time stayed, only additional workers may have joined ever since (seeing how successful it has become after its hardships).
This looks interesting. The subtitle isn't very obvious this time: I wonder if it is there partially to arouse the most dogmatic religious people. Mortal Kombat has never aroused anyone after all *cough* ESRB *cough cough* |

Freddy Krueger gonna make a randomass appearance in this game too!? How about Buffy, or anyone else WB has licenses to? Seriously, Freddy in MK9 was just fucking stupid, he had no right being there. Hopefully Netherrealm will just stick to characters who actually make damn sense existing in the DC Universe.
Btw, I wouldn't expect too many returns of villians or heroes from MKvsDC. Odds are there won't be namely Deathstroke, Captain Marvel, or Catwoman. But thats a good thing. Leaves room for characters like Black Canary, Green Arrow, Poison Ivy, Black Adam, Killer Croc or Bane, Doomsday, Despero, Deadshot the list goes on and on! |
