If you don't fancy the standard, Special Edition, 'Freedom Edition' or 'Join or Die Edition' of Assassin's Creed III, then Ubisoft has yet another option for you to add to the array of previously announced editions of the game.

This one's called the Assassin's Creed III Ubiworkshop Edition, and bundles the game with the 336-page hardcover Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia Second Edition and the 208-page softcover Assassin's Creed: Subject 4 graphic novel, which contains the entire run of Daniel Cross/Nikolai Orelov comic book stories, covered in AC: The Fall and its sequel AC: The Chain.

You can pre-order the Assassin's Creed III Ubiworkshop Edition from the Ubi Store for the special price of $99.99 until July 4th (US Independence Day), after which point it'll cost $109.99. Assassin's Creed III is out on October 30th, 2012. Check out the AC III Ubiworkshop Edition in the image below.

I look forward to the day I can own everything AC related without shelling out over $100 for half of the stuff... *sigh*, ah well, at least Ubi is better that EA, or 38 for that matter

Wonder if there will ever be books covering the whole AC series when this all finally comes to an end. Dont know what author I'd want to cover it tho, possibly Dan Brown he did some pretty good research for the Da Vinci Code and angels and demons.

OT: Not for me.

@3

I think you're confusing researching with "making stuff up".

If this also came with the stuff from the freedom edition or join or die, then maybe, but I'm going for the freedom edition as I can't pass up a statue/figure and a steelbook case, I'm not the biggest reader either, although I should start reading more as I don't think I've read a book/poem etc since I left school 5 years ago. But Steelbook and statue figurine wins everytime for me, plus the bonus missions.

@16 Don't be that guy....we get plenty of exclusives in the US.

That being said, I may have to cancel my Gamestop order and buy this off the Ubi Store. Then I'm going to find a way to get me a connor statue.

Found this on the Ubi Store in case anyone was wondering....

"Please note that the game, both the XBOX 360 and PS3 version, will work in EVERY region. The game can be set in English, French, Spanish and Brazilian. The books are solely available in English."

I would assume this applies to all editions, so I may just order a Freedom edition as well.

Most of the in game pre-order stuff you can live without.
I got the AC revelations signature edition because I wanted Vlad the Impaler's sword and because I saw a segment on gttv where they were running around a creepy castle in the moonlight and thought it looked cool.

The level while basically just a checkpoint race through empty ruins was cool and so was the sword, but I ended up using Yusuf's sword for the rest of the game becuase it was a superior weapon.

The join or die edition has that sweet American flag box and medallion while the freedom edition has the Connor figurine. Tough choice but I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about the in game content as it won't keep you from enjoying AC III any less.

@3 All the main series games so far have had book adaptations. They're all terrible, but they exist.
