Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise

Hands up who saw this one coming. Naughty Bear will be returning this year for Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise, a follow-up to the decidedly rubbish 2010 original that will see the titular cuddly, psychotic ursine shunned and outcast by the bears of Perfection Island who've gone off on holiday without inviting him.

Deaprting for the luxury destination of Paradise Island, Naughty Bear will have a hit-list of the bears that have wronged him that he'll track down and take out one by one. Panic in Paradise will have an overhauled combat system, a new levelling-up mechanic, equipment customisation offering thousands of combinations and more than 30 missions set across 11 of Paradise Island's distinct areas.

“Naughty Bear really struck a chord with gamers looking for something more than the same old gameplay,” said David Osborne, Executive Creative Director at Behaviour Interactive, “With Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise, we’re turning the naughty dial all the way up to 11!”

Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise will be out later in the year on the Xbox Live Arcade. Check out the teaser trailer and first three screens below.

	I played the first one twice, once where I didn't understand what was going on, and a second where I didn't have any fun because I couldn't understand what was going on, there was 0 playability in this game. what started out as original became shit

	I was very disappointed with the first game as there was some much wasted potential,however I will keep an eye on this as hopefully they will learn from their mistakes

	@3 Agreed. It wasn't particularly well polished and got a bit repetative, but I really enjoyed the first it was a nice change of pace.

	First game was a major disappointment, but I'm still hoping they decide to truly overhaul the game and turn it into what it should be

	Honestly I quite liked the first one, but it got boring and somewhat frustrating after about 1 hour............... mainly becuase the bears would just lock up themselves up in their homes at the slightest bit of trouble which eliminated the whole stealth element. Personnally I want them to make it like Hitman, but you know with bears.

	I got the first game for $7 on Gamefly. Still have to play it, but I am confident I'll enjoy it. Having said that, I'm kinda stoked for this anyway.

	This game was one of the most repetitive and boring games I've ever played. When I first got it I was excited for something different but soon the game got repetitive with the same kills and objectives over and over again. I honestly thought it was going to be a cool little story about this psychotic bear, but I couldn't get through the bor-fest that was Naughty Bear.

	"Deaprting"? Typo. OT: Well, this was unexpected. I didn't think this game was popular enough to get a sequel. Heck, when I saw the name of the article, I was expecting it was DLC.

	Whilst the first one of these was a serious disappointment, the central premise was a pretty reasonable one. If the devs have bothered to pay attention to the criticisms of the original it's just possible that they could make a really good game. I'll probably check it out on rental, they'd have to go a hell of a long way to get me to risk full retail prices.

	I got Naughty Bear when I had a PS3. It was fun for a few days then got boring quick. Worst part was the other bears could see you coming a mile off, so stealth was a waste of time. Great idea, just executed wrong. David Osborne. How dare you use a Spinal Tap reference for a shocking game. They don't belong in the same sentence!! You bloody poodle!

	I hope they have learned to play test a game before release since 2010. The first game was totally broken. When a game freezes over and over on the first level, you feel like they never even played their own game before release. Biggest disappointment of 2010. I wonder if there's a reward for that. 	One of my favorite 360 games and it got patched guys it froze less than 1 out of every 100 matches after the patch.

	The first had its problems, but I actually really enjoyed it, it had a lot of great ideas and was very entertaining at times. I'm glad for another one.
