@17 my first thought was , thats a bit extreme, but then i remember getting a japanese to english dictionary back in 1996 to help me with biohazard on the psx, i guess that was a bit over the top aswell, lols, ps, the dictionary didnt help for shit!
ot i love capcom s/p adventure games they are nearly always awesome, i loved d/s 1 but i found d/s 2 a bit to dark, i just couldnt tell which way i was facing and i just gave up in the end. maybe ill go back to it and turn brightness up. |

@16 I'm quite enjoying both of them, despite only getting DD for the Resi demo, its better than I thought it would be and I love the single player in MP3.
Can't comment on MIB3, but I've never been a fan anyway so it doesnt really interest me. |

If it would be co-op, imo it takes away the "survival horror" atmosphere. Which already is toned down because the character seems to be some kind of securty officer (based on the trailer). That is the same they did with the Silent Hill franchise.
Another thing I'm curious about: Does co-op means it will have or need an online-pass or can it be done local/splitscreen?

| So much hate for co-op. Granted yes it WILL alter the experience, just think of the possibilities. If your "alter ego" dies, so do you. If something grabs your "alter ego" then your character should just randomly lock up into an escape attempt too. I say give it a chance before bashing it. Hell, for all we know, co-op could make the hardcore run harder to the point where you only get 3 saves TOTAL between you and your partner and if that isn't hard enough, then let's just knock it down to one save total. |

Mmmkay, I am not sure how pointing out Dead Space's control issues is "trolling" but I will agree to disagree with you on that. I played it and I know that the series has control issues. Just google "Dead Space control issues" and you will see that my statement is not a novel one. Many, many people agree with me. How that is trolling, I am not sure but the Internet fanboy collective is an interesting one.
Maybe when folks can handle a little criticism of their franchise of choice without calling it "trolling"...well that is when you are ready to leave mommy and daddy's basement.

Heh, well, I did it more because I wanted to for the fun, than because I thought it'd help the game. It's still English anyway, just coded letters. And to be honest, it can kind of ruin the mood, attempting to stare at my tiny television to make out the different blood-covered letters a lot of the time, but it can also get me some street credit as a hardcore nerd. =) |
