| Well hopefully someday they may make a sequel to the 2010 Prince of Persia, and he'll be able to get his wish. I'm fine with the sudden accent change as long as Ubisoft doesn't change the character's voice actor like what happened with Altair and Subject 16 in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. (For the record though, Yuri Lowenthal should always play the classic prince, in my opinion.) |

| I loved that game it was beautiful, the platforming was so well done and just flowed, the art style was gorgeous, the script was good but he's right the cocky American accent did take you out the moment sometimes. Ive been hoping for a sequel, still waiting....... |

Except Penguin in Arkham City, the dude just always does Nathan Drake. Uncharted, Assassins Creed, POP2008, Dark Void and Shadow Complex all have him doing that cocky American voice. Even NPC roles like in Terminator Salvation or Spider-Man. His Penguin voice wasn't even that unique, it's the same Cockney accent he uses as the Darklings in the Darkness games. Not sure how he gets so much work or how he's been cast in the new Star Trek movie. Voice actors should have a range. I really liked The Pirnce from POP2008 personally, never felt it didn't fit or anything. Still, if Nolan wants to adjust the voice then maybe Ubisoft will just have to FINALLY make a sequel instead of churning out Assassin's Creed game after Assassin's Creed game, won't they? |

One of my all time favorite voice actors alongside David Hayter. I don't mind hearing him talk at all in any game. I do feel that he doesn't change his voice that often between characters, but at the same time that doesn't really matter. Looking forward to his work in Spec Ops the Line. |

@12 I think MetalGearMax is right actually; North basically plays the same guy all the time even outside of videogames. I watched the Ultimate Avengers direct to DVD animated movie a few weeks ago(what with all the recent Avengers interest) where North was playing Ant-Man/Giant-Man, and he was exactly the same guy yet again. Personally that's why I cringe whenever I hear he's voicing a new character because we know what to expect already. I agree with him, as well as other posters above, on his voicing of the Prince '08, because for everything it did right and so well, when he opened his mouth it took you right out of the game. He shouldn't have gone more British, but at least something other than how the voice turned out. That being said, I'm sure he gets hired for his trademark American accent. If the developers etc. wanted something different, they would hire someone else. |

| If I was him, I'd have been less worried about his acting and more about the writing and actual gameplay. North's been lucky enough to star in some really grade-A games, and this Prince definitely wasn't one of them. |

| Great game, bad ending....followed by Epilogue DLC with ANOTHER cliffhanger. Ubisoft needs to do a sequel, and maybe then North can try out a new accent for the Prince. I love North's voice work, and he's pretty great as Spencer's dad on Pretty Little Liars |

He should redo Penguin. Lordy that was abysmal. Nearly ruined the game for me, my brother, his room mate, my friend, another friend, his friend and a majority of the employees at my local Gamestation. They could have at least got someone actually English. |

@#4: Way to stereotype. Most of my friends on Xbox Live are British, but I don't make fun of the bad food in the UK and their bad teeth, do I? See what I did there, idiot? On topic: Nolan is money and he is great in so many different games that the occasional mistake can be forgiven. |

@#11 - That's a pretty bad example, because, as much as I love those actors (and that video, which I saw on Sunday), a lot of them sound pretty much the same as well. 90% of the time, John DiMaggio, Billy West and Rob Paulsen stick out like sore thumbs. Most of Tara Strong's voices too, except maybe Timmy Turner and Harley Quinn. And some of Maurice's voices are the same Orson Welles/The Brain. Even older voice actors like Frank Welker (who always sounds like Fred from Scooby Doo in every role). The worst offenders are anime dub voices. With few exceptions, they don't even bother creating a range. As much as I love Steve Blum, it's a bit depressing that his range is basically "Spike/Roger Smith" and "Deeper Spike/Roger Smith" for every voice. |

| I thought he did a well enough damn decent job voicing him, (The cocky attitude being my favorite part of the game). What held the game back in my opinion was the fact fights were only 1 on 1, which was a step back from the other games, and that giant middle finger of an ending. |

| @33 Whilst ironically mentioning their bad teeth and bad food. Why the fuck do Americans always think British people have bad teeth? And bad food that's a first, but then I suppose all food in the rest of the world must seem bad when you come from the US, or 'the home of Haute cuisine' as I like to call it. |

| He's right, though. If a game takes place in a foreign land or another world, you really shouldn't be speaking with an american accent, let alone english. This is why Final Fantasy 13 was one of the most obnoxious games I've ever played. God-awful voice acting. Same goes for Lost Odyssey. The english speaking voice actors were completely cheesy and distracting. I'm so glad there were four other languages (and subtitles) to choose from. That english was off in minutes and the game became so much more believable. More games should give us that option. |
