Concluding its Zone of the Enders HD event in Shinjuku with a bang, Kojima Productions unveiled the first glimpse at some artwork from a new Zone of Enders project, revealing that the studio's fantastic mech series is set for a comeback with new Orbital Frame designs and a new setting.
Although the game is still very much in the early prototype stages, according to 4Gamer.net Hideo Kojima is serious about creating a Zone of the Enders sequel, with more from Anubis - as shown in the sketches - and reportedly an ancient civilisation serving as the backdrop rather than a futuristic setting.
The images revealed by Kojima Productions at the ZOE HD event depict renders of a new Orbital Frame using the developer's proprietary Fox Engine, whereas the artworks hint at designs for various Orbital Frames and their runners (presumably the hooded character).
