I feel like that game that was in development for 5 years should really have all the features we have been getting over the last few months. With a game as glitchy as this I feel like an extra years work might not have gone amiss. That or they could have a bigger team working on it I guess. Every update shows how bad a version the orginal game is out the box, I'm not faulting the games story telling or graphics just the quality of finish we were given on release. Kinect commands and mounted fighting are all things they must have known they could and would implement and it shows the sad state we are in where games are given a release date before they are "finished" and products are rushed to market (Halo 2 anyone). I also feel that secrecy regarding DLC is not needed what so ever and doesn't build hype so much as annoys fans and makes people who have completed the game sell it on (normally to rent at a later date to finish sai DLC). How disappointed were we all when that imkage last month turned out to be a whole new game and not Skyrim DLC? Exactly so someone please start giving the fans some honest and open infomation and stop stringing us all along! |

@15 - If you have a problem with a game being updated every so often then just don't play it online? You know, don't play the game whilst signed in on Xbox LIVE? 1) Don't sign in. 2) Play game without the constant updating. 3) ??? 4) Profit. |

this game really should have been kept in development for longer. If you are still playing this game then good for you-enjoy the mounted combat but many people who bought the game when it was released over 6 months ago will have played for hundreds of hours, done almost everything, got all achievements, got bored and moved on. For all those people (myself included), mounted combat, ranged kill cams and all those bug fixes would have been much appreciated when we were still playing the game like there was no tomorrow-not months after we stopped playing. |

@20 I have no problem with games being updated but not with features that should have been out the box, especially features modded by the community so soon after the realease that take the developers so long to implement! It's bad practice for us, I'm not a hater I've played hundreds of hours of Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3/Vegas and happily paid for DLC. @21 Pretty much covers it, adding features might draw gamers back in for a few hours to try it out but it's not really anything new or will make anyone start the game again and as most of us have done a majoirty of it these releases are virtually pointless untill a worthy DLC comes out. No one will now go and buy the game because it has kinect support (Do they have to reprint all the boxart in shops now?) or because of horse combat especially as it hasn't added new missions to utilise it or achievements for the achievement slags out there. @22 I struggle to think of games that don't get updated to be honest, it standard procedure these days. |

I can understand people's frustration with bug fixes 6 months down the line. Fortunately I have only recently started playing this so don't fall into that category. My experience has been largely bug free. Had I played it on release I'm sure I'd be singing from the same hymn sheet, though. On another note, can we all get over putting Shouts in as comments? Has anyone totted up how many times Fus Ro Dah has appeared in these threads? Just wondering… LOL ;) |

@15 & 21 You know you have the choice: 1. buy it on release day, fight the bugs, finish the game before it is completely fixed and pay extra cash for every DLC on day one. OR 2. be patient, and buy the GotY edition, which is a finished game, a complete experience and cost maybe the half or even less (also if you lucky the DLCs are on a disc) Rush for the shop on release day but then don't whine, when you know it will be glitchy and not complete (especially big games like this) Or wait and show the developers, that you rather put your money in a complete game. It might change the tendence. (probably won't, but at least you won't be mad) TL,DR: in my opinion is better to wait for a GotY and not playing until it comes out, than for a patch, after running into a game-breaking glitch mid-game. |

@26 Be patient? Took 5 years to make it if I spend £50 on a game why should it be glitchy and half finished? We moan about on disc DLC as a problem but not companies rushing games out and fixing them much later. I don't get as much time to play games as I used to and when a game breaking glitch occurs I do feel ripped off. Every time they release an RPG its always full of bugs that we all find on day 1 so they must know about it. About time some sense was made of it all and developers finish games off properly or as you suggest we all play the waiting game or go the second hand market in the future and they start losing out. |

@21 Adding features every few months to a SP game is no different than a MP game like CoD or Halo adding new maps every few months. Its the same fucking thing. It's meant to pull audiences back into the game for a while, or keep those currently playing interested. @26 I prefer to play new games, ya know, NEW. Waiting for the GotY edition of every game is like waiting for the Xbox 360 to come out before buying an original Xbox -_- But to each his own. @28 They always WILL be DLC Kings. Since when did the amount of time it takes to release dlc = quality? People bitch about day one dlc, but if its not out 1 month later then the company is apparently falling apart -_- |

@33 It's more like waiting for the 360 with the bigger hard drive rather than buying the first 360s come out. Anyways though, I think it's pretty cool that this developer had a list of genuinely good ideas that they wanted to implement in this game, and they're actually implementing them. Gives me hope for the cooler shit on that list like dragon mounts. |

@30 Don't misunderstand me, I agree with the basic idea that when a game comes out, it should be finished/polished. When I started gaming, it was like that. What I say, that these days it is 100% sure, that the game will be glitchy. But as long people buying the game on day one, the companies won't break themselves as they still have their profit. So no need to be surprised. Obviously, many will buy it anyway, because they like to play new, they can talk about it with buddies, waited for it a long time, etc. I can wait as I'm behind with a couple of years, like to be glitch-free, and like everything on the disc. Also, much easier to finance the whole thing. I bought my Xbox also years after the first came out. But, I didn't have any RRoD either. Sometimes it's good to be behind. |

I will also be happy with whatever DLC comes out. There are always going to be ungrateful fools that are not happy no matter what you give them. I have learned to just ignore sooks like that. |
