Sounds like you two don't understand how coding works. Messing with one line could cause the whole game to crash on a double K.O. or something. Also it's going to be mid June because even if they fixed this issue tomorrow they would still have to go through the approval process with Sony and Microsoft to release the next patch. Which takes about 2-3 weeks. I know it sucks, but things like this do happen. It's unfortunate, but at least they are fixing it. Other developers sometimes just say screw it we tried and failed. Patches cost about 40K to release (correct me if I'm wrong) |

| ^.......that's a fair point dude but as I've said before on another topic about game breaking glitches (I think it was the one to do with Costume Quest) surely they must test these patches before they release them, and you'd hope that something like this, which can happen quite frequently, would have been picked up on |

| @#4 Being a programmer, I do, funnily enough, know about coding, thanks. They should have tested this to see if there were any further problems before thinking "Fuck it, it's alright". |

Who woulda thought a knife/fireball cancel would cause a game to crash? Maybe the game has to stop and say..."Hmmm, How does a knife stop a fireball?" Wierd Glitch tho regardless... |

| Cinderkin is spot on with what he said it's just unfortunate that Capcom did not find this bug before they released the patch to Microsoft/Sony. |

@6 but that doesn´t mean you know anything about the patch process. |

I don't know why people are get worked up about this, this sometimes happens. When a game is unbalanced they try to fix it, and sometimes these things happen. So they have made a mistake, at least they are trying to fix it and even dated it so they have time to test the new patch, which of course means things like this will less likily happen again. |

@ #6: Either you're not really a programmer or you're incredibly ignorant about the testing process. It's difficult to test a game, fighting games especially, for every possible scenario. There are always going to be situations that the testers don't think of that the players will encounter. At some level, glitches happen in every genre and in nearly every game. If you seriously think that Capcom's people thought what you posted, you're either posting something ridiculously hyperbolic or you're being stupid. Capcom got right so many artistic and technical aspects of the game that the testers clearly did a good job. @ #4: You're correct with everything you say. Hopefully some of these kids will learn from your post. |

| @ #12 - Are you honestly trying to say that two projectiles colliding in a Capcom fighter is an unthought of scenario? I do agree that bizarre things happen, and not everything that can be done by thousands of people can be caught by a small team, but two projectiles colliding in a Capcom fighter? Unless you're playing grappler Vs grappler, that is an incredibly common occurance. |

| @#4 - Its good they're getting to it asap and stuff, but its such an obvious glitch. There's no way something with it should've been released at all. |

| @#4 True... they might as well said we will fix the glitch after we are done developing Tekken X Street Fighter. |
