Thought max Payne was rubbish. really disappointed, very shallow and dated game polished to make it look better than it is . You can minus -1 off the total sales as a I sent mine back.
Rockstar should stick to what they are good at.
The excellent Catharine has had price hits at shop-to and zavi after piss poor distribution when it came out. Well worth it if not played.
I know the concept of disliking something popular might upset some people. Just breath and relax, It’s not a personal insult.

IMO Max Payne is a great game, if not a little challenging which seems to turn quite alot of people off sadly.
It isnt on par though with other rockstar games, but it is still awesome people who are disapointed just expected to much, IMO.
The MP is crap though. |

| Given that Diablo 3 is only available on PC, it's not that suprissing Max Payne beat it in sales. I love Max Payne 3. Sure it would have been nice if it was all New York style like Chapter 4. But it's still great! I miss using grenades and molotovs though :'( |

| I didnt like MP3 at first but it has grown on me and now I would highly recommend it to any one. Just dont expect you typical open world Rockstar game. Its very linear but the set pieces and action scenes are well executed and it gets the juices flowing. |

I found Max Payne to be the best game I've played since Skyrim. I still have the first two games installed on my PC. With the third game, I felt like I was playing in the film Man On Fire.
You can't compare this to other rockstar games because they are sandbox and this is a TPS.
Great story, great gameplay. Agree with #10 the multiplayer is rubbish.
Theres my two cents. |

| and yet i cant find a none digital copy of diablo 3 anywere. I have max payne and love it to bits but saying a game sold 8000 more across 2 platforms compared to 1 platform that requires a certain specs or higher to run is kind of pointless :P |

Really enjoyed Max Payne 3. I love the way the cut-scenes and gameplay merge into one. They said it was "cinematic" and they were not lieing!
However, I got my arse kicked on quite a lot on medium, not going to enjoy hard/hardcore xD |
