Supreme Commander invades the 360

Supreme Commander invades the 360
Written Wednesday, June 11, 2008 by Joe Robinson

Gas Powered Games and Hellbent Games have joined forces to adapted the power-house PC strategy title for the Xbox360.

Publisher Aspyr Media originally announced a release date of March, however they ended up pushing it back to a "late summer, early spring" release. This proved to be not far off the mark, as yesterday Aspyr confirmed that Microsoft had certified the game, and that it would be hitting stores on June 23rd.

Supreme Commander's sense of epic scale still remains one of the major selling points for this port, and the console version will feature some exclusive units, as well as new online modes and updated maps.

It has been reported that the game will have both single and multi-player modes, with the online matches able to support up to four players.

the more rts's the better, i've grown to playing these on consoles more than the PC, sure, it's different, but it's not hard to master. Although, I'm going with Kanes wrath over this.

No Demo news as of yet, but it is possible, given its release date.

Supreme Commander came out last year for the PC. It's a very hyper-intensive RTS that garnered a lot of critical acclaim, i suggest you go to Gamespot or something, and read a review on the PC version - the console version won't be that far off. We hope.

I'm just about to get the PC version for my newly upgraded beast, so I doubt that I would buy this again. Besides the PC version is a tenner. Bargain !

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
