But what has been/is Bungie's, 343i and M$'s obsession with the pea shooter-I mean assault rifle? That piece of sh** wont get you through a halo game on normal difficulty. |

| I never really was into Halo that much, maybe because I didn't play it from the start of the trilogy. However, after playing through Halo CE and Halo 3, I'll be sure to reserve this as soon as I beat Halo 2 on PC. |

What I meant was MC is always seen with the AR in practically every cutscene and it appears on the cover of every halo game that has the AR in that game (not sure about reach).
Yes it's decent against the flood but not nearly as good as the scoped pistol, dual wielded SMG's, shotguns, energy swords, gravity hammers etc and vs the covenant it's the worst UNSC weapon bar the halo 2 pistol and not much better than the worst covenant weapons.
SO why is it like the iconic halo weapon? |

I lost touch and got burned out on Halo.
However, this artwork just reignited that spark in me and from everything thing I've seen for Halo 4 looks like 343 will do Bungie's baby proud and get Chief back on top of the FPS mountain. |

| @50 totally agree. The cover looks cool and all, but that doesn't really change if the game is good or bad. I have played all the halos (except wars) and I hope this game delivers, but I am worried it will be an epic fail. We'll see though, Halo 1 and 2 were amazing to me, lets hope with a reboot the series will go back to those ones. |

| At first I thought the two objects to the left and right were building. But if you look closer, you can see that the right object is a covenant ship and the left object is a human ship named "Further Onto Dawn". You can see the title of it on the bottom part where it is cut off. |

@52 I agree. People feel a need to inject negativity prematurely, never understood why...
The piece in its own right looks fantastic and I'm feeling optimistic that 343 can deliver something worthy of the Halo name. Why people are so quick to explicitly write things off is astounding, sometimes it seems they want things to fail. |
