Sniper Elite V2 has lined up its shot, held its breath and slotted a bullet straight through the bollocks of its competitors. The World War II-set shooter remains in the number one spot for the second week running.

Sniper Elite V2's victory comes at the expense of both FIFA Street and Prototype 2, which could only manage second and third place respectively. That's not so bad for EA's skillful football reeboot, as it's been on the charts for nine weeks and many of those have been spent in the top spot. Prototype 2, meaniwhile, has only been around for three weeks. Activision will have expected better.

Elsewhere, there's very little movement, with games merely shuffling around a spot or two. Next week brings Max Payne 3, however. Sniper Elite V2 should prepare to make way.
