I know the dude had a fairly thick accent, but were the subtitles really necessary? I will definitely be giving this a try - have high hopes for this game. |

They keep repeating the same information in all their vid docs and trailers. "We talked to GRRM! So, please excuse the lack of solid gameplay or any originality!" I love GRRM's novels. The HBO series is quite entertaining and does well with the budget and time restrictions it faces. Everything I've seen in-game just signals my 'budget radar'. I'll definitely wait until I hear some feedback on other gamers and some reviews before considering a purchase, considering Cyanide completely dropped the ball with their first attempt. I wish GRRM had taken more consideration into who he sold the licensing rights to, besides handing it over to the first guy with a wad of cash in his hand. There are so many development companies that could make a brilliant GoT game. |

| I am absolutely getting this; there is hardly an wRPG I haven't played this gen. Love the series, even read the novellas. Will enjoy seeing the universe expanded, because there is so much opportunity for it. |

| I loved the series, but never read books... This game looks mediocre at best, but I will still pick it up once it's dirt cheap and give it a spin, if just to see how well they recreated the world and other known characters=) |

#16 I'm guessing because they are French and have accents that can be difficult for a lot of people to understand. Using subtitles gives you all the information they are saying on the first viewing rather than needing to watch it repeatedly in order to decipher what they are saying. #18 Sadly I doubt that Daenerys will be in the game due to it seemingly taking place entirely within Westeros. I think the game looks like it has a lot of potential, if the fight styles that they described before (i.e two-hander weapons, sword and shield, duel-wielding) are fleshed out well and the story actually lives up to the quality of George Martin's books, then it could do very well financially as well as help show that video games based off of books, comics, films and TV series can be more than just poorly made cash-ins. |
