Game isnt even out yet and they're already taking away modes that should have been in the game.

@2 Thats a typical example of milking costumers to buy stuff from marketplace to expand the so called game experince. I always enjoyed the early DLC,s for GRAW 1 and 2 but i always found them abit overpriced, the extra MP add-ons hmm i,m not so sure if guerrilla mode is fun then thats a nice extra, i,m not sure about the added MP stuff because i expected the MP abit more team based but so far what i played its just turned out into a camping festival instead teams actualy going for objectives because kills seems to give more then taking objectives.

I have no issue with this, so long as it isnt on disk like Capcom do.

And it was actually developed after the game was finished.

@5 "Thats a typical example of milking costumers to buy stuff from marketplace"

What has this got to do with fancy dress shops? :P

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. :P
OT:
I think the maps are fine, because on the disc content will have been locked for a while now for testing, which means the content creation team will have had nothing else to do. I would have had a problem if it was out on Junr 3rd and not July 3rd.

@9
true.
But paid map packs 5 weeks after release will split the online community in half. IN a heavily multiplayer focused game, that just aint on.

Paid skins, Paid for weapons, paid for CO-OP maps, fine.
But MP maps that some people won't ba able to play, and them being kicked from the game for it, is just stupid!

It's only 800MSP which is pretty reasonable compared to DLC for some other big titles out there. Maybe I'll get it. I don't intend to keep Future Soldier as long as I intend to keep Max Payne 3 on my shelf.

...and why are people hating on DLC coming out soon after release? I'd rather have it come out whilst I still have the game, instead of leaving Mass Effect 3 (for example) on my shelf and have it's resale value drop a ridiculous amount before they produce any real extensions for it.

@2 They finished the game a few months back so they like to work on other bits of content for the game. A little stupid to me but whatever.

Well the way I see it is that as with all games toward the end of production some of the dev team end up with nothing to do so they start work on DLC when they're not required to work on fixes and polishing the final game. Usually this ends in Day One DLC that everyone pisses and moans about because it should be on the disc(Despite the fact the game usually comes with a code for that Day One DLC for free). At least in this instance its coming out a full month after release so that we have some variety to look forward to without suffering the general apathy that can affect multiplayer games whilst gamers wait for the next DLC pack. And above all else...nobody is forcing anyone to buy it if they don't want to...

@14:
I hope for 800msp they do add achievements, too, but won't be too bummed out if not. I love me some Cheevo's, but don't make them my primary reason for getting a game or DLC.

i honestly think some devs release dlc shortly after a game releases to let customers know the can and plan to make DLC for the game so you dont play it once and trade it off.

I love the poster! This would be alot nicer if they gave it for free to those who preordered it bought new as extra incentive. Knowing that I am being asked for extra content for $10 2 weeks after release, leave a sour taste in my mouth...

@21 - I know, right? And why can't the games be free too? It's such bullshit, these companies expecting us to actually purchase the product they created!

So they already took out a few maps,a few guns and a "new" mode that was already in the game to make it as DLC? Ubisoft you're something else.

And thats a deal breaker. It was a day one buy till I played the campfest that was the beta. Now they announce theyre going to split its already small community a month after launch, after multiple delays supposedly aimed at increasing quality standards? This should be free or at least 400 points as recompense for making us wait and the MP's lackluster performance, that probably wont be fully patch out till weeks after launch. At least if they charged 400msp alot more ppl would buy it with less getting kicked out of games and they'd still make just as much from total sales, rather than half of the ppl going "f' that". If your game has a large enough fanbase like CoD or BF3, you can afford to take chances at splitting your community a month after launch by charging 800msp. But even EA tries not to split their community with preorder map pack incentives, and Activis can afford to. Sorry Ubi, but your communities nowhere near big enough to pull that shit. Just talked me off the fence with this news of further dissapointments.
