Soul Caliber IV Secret Apprentice Screens & Now Video

Soul Caliber IV Secret Apprentice Screens & Now Video
Written Friday, June 06, 2008 by Dan Webb

Wow, it seems as if its meet the characters day today, so to continue the trend, meet the "Secret Apprentice" character from the Soul Calibur IV. The Secret Apprentice is Darth Vadar's right hand man in the upcoming Star Wars Unleashed game. and is the third Star Wars character to be unveiled (although 360 owners will only see Yoda  (360 exclusive) and the Secret Apprentice because Vadar is a PS3 exclusive). Either way, this  bad ass wields a light sabre, so that's good enough for me. Check him out.

UPDATE: I've added the Gametrailers trailer to the post at the bottom now, check it out.

I think this will make up for not having Vader, Vader is too overused.

Wow, that's some quick-infiltrating character. His own game isn't even out yet! Not saying it's a problem in the slightest, just seems kind of weird.

Pretty cool, can't wait for this game even though there too many ridiculous characters in this game.

I wonder if you'll be able to use the lightsaber for creating characters.

This is perfect advertising for Force Unleashed btw. I just hope that they don't name him in Soul Caliber, I love hearing the announcer saying stupid things.

"Seigfried vs. Secret Apprentice!" Takes me back to the days when he would announce Edge Master as "Guest Fighter!" LOL

Ps3 are easily the best system, even though im pro in halo i have a ps3, i watch blu rays every day , thank god the ps3 version gets vadar and the apprentice, They need to jus make yoda a ps3 exclusive and well be set, i need a game to play for my ps3

Crap.

I thought getting 1 Star Wars character was bad enough. We don't even know this guy.
Link was cool in SC2, this is bollocks imo.

And I am a star wars fan :P

This is a very strange crossover and adding a character from a game not even out yet hmmm smacks of cheap advertising!! Dont think it will do the game any favors personally ive always loved the soul calibur games still play it on my dreamcast. As for vadar ps3 exclusive who gives a shit secret apprentice lame and yoda aint he dead come to think of it so is vadar lol i like starwars but why not make a starwars beat em up theres plenty of characters why invade another i preferred soul caliburs story when it was set in the past with SWORDS not some glow stick future version.

im not really feeling this soul calibur i thought SC 2 was great and adding the secret characters was ok but i like SC for the characters they have (kilik kicks ass) when you start to add characters with differnt bg it gets sort of idiotic i know they say you understand the story behind it but why leave the game as it is and if you want to add new characters do it the way SC 3 did it by making your own like that idea not liking star wars idea here is a good one make a star wars fighting game (thats good) then we wont have to add them into SC 3 (still hoping for tekken 5 on 360)

Everyone here is illiterate... PS3 owners don't get this 'Secret Apprentice'. I'll break down the sentence for you:

(although 360 owners will only see Yoda (360 exclusive) and the Secret Apprentice because Vadar is a PS3 exclusive)

Basically, it says that '360 owners will only see Yoda and the Secret Apprentice because Vader is a PS3 Exclusive.

Seriously, stay in school, or go back if you've already left...

Falcongale: no, you can't read.
"[Secret Apprentice] is the third Star Wars character to be unveiled (although 360 owners will only see Yoda (360 exclusive) and the Secret Apprentice because Vadar is a PS3 exclusive)."
Yoda = 360
Vader = PS3
Apprentice is on both systems.

lol @ Falcongale, that's got to be embarrassing... :)

Didn't see this one coming. Interesting, though I guess it makes sense, having either Yoda or Vader on either console means no scope for lightsabre battles unless you are Yoda vs Yoda/Vader vs Vader.

So, they needed someone else with a lightsabre, and Lucasarts would love some more publicity for their new creation... Viola! Perfect solution.

Who next? Darth Maul? that would be sweet. Or the rancor! At the end of the day though, these are fun extras. This is Soul Calibur first and foremost, and man, I cannot wait for this one.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
