Rayman is a legend, excited for this already!Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 12:10 PM
Speaking of Spyro, I think the Wii U "portal" (like Skylanders) is pretty awesome (cue Thumbs Down; God forbid). Game looks great. Still gotta get the first one. I loved the demo.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 12:38 PM

And so the milking begins. I'll just wait and see about this one I think.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 01:09 PM
just completed origins, hope it's not too long til this one drops as I doubt origins will ever get any DLCFriday, April 27, 2012 @ 01:22 PM
There's video out in YouTube of Rayman Legends: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9mIoEM0RkY&feature=g-logo Sorry, if this is posted in here already. :pFriday, April 27, 2012 @ 01:46 PM
Oh sweet trailer. Makes me think it'll be WiiU exclusive (what with all that pad gizmo stuff) Looks good but don't think it looks as beautiful as Origins. Early stages though I guess!Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 01:50 PM
LoVe YoU rAyMaN!!! :DFriday, April 27, 2012 @ 02:40 PM
My life is complete.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 02:46 PM
@14 you serious? Milking doesn't mean sequels. As long as the games quality still shows I think everyone can agree a Rayman sequel is welcome! can't wait! Yeah I can...but still I'm excited!Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 03:47 PM
@20 So you're saying games like COD, Halo etc aren't getting milked? COD has been getting milked since COD 4 was released whereas Halo is already starting to get milked as it should of ended with Halo 3, but not Micro$oft had to go and announce another THREE Halo titles. Rayman will be the same easily and considering how early the announcement was after the release of Origins... Get your facts right please...Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 04:06 PM
Hopefully this one will have online co-op.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 04:07 PM
Do you ever wonder what happens to ppl that actually leak it (provided they are uncovered)? Seems to me like there has been many more leaks recently than just few years ago...Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 04:07 PM
@21 So you think Announcement =/= release date? COD 4 Release Date: November 5, 2007 COD MW3 Release Date: November 8, 2011 5 COD's during those 4 years. Rayman Origins Release Date: November 15, 2011 Rayman Legends Release Date: TBS 1 Rayman. Last actual Rayman game was Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge, March 15, 2005 Raving Rabbids -games doesn't actually have nothing to do with Rayman. Rayman Origins uses the 2D, the same as the first Rayman game uses. First Rayman release date was September 1, 1995. Please say, how Rayman is "milking", if the first Rayman game was released September 1, 1995, Rayman Origins was released November 15, 2011 and the third 2D game hasn't yet been announced?Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 04:08 PM
Rayman Legends Release Date: TBA* My mistake.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 04:30 PM
@24 All I was saying was Rayman is going to get milked, I never said it is getting milked. Seeing that Ubisoft know how profitable Origins was they're going to start releasing them yearly which is called milking just like COD.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 04:42 PM
Cool. Wish there were more 2D platformers out there.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 04:55 PM
More 2D goodness, yes pleaseFriday, April 27, 2012 @ 06:14 PM
Way to let Beyond Good & Evil 2 fall by the wayside, Ubisoft.Friday, April 27, 2012 @ 09:35 PM
Looking forward to it, thought Rayman Origins was a gem, this should be excellent platformiing fun as well!Saturday, April 28, 2012 @ 12:33 AM
@21 no because both halo and Cods quality have been fading every sequel.Saturday, April 28, 2012 @ 05:09 AM
@33 You don't get it do you? They're still getting milked and yet people still buy them, This will end up getting milked with a yearly release and the quality will go down to make money and people will buy it.Saturday, April 28, 2012 @ 07:35 AM
So they said that if Rayman Origins sold well, they would make Beyond Good & Evil 2. I take this as a confirmation that Rayman Origins indeed sold well. :) AWW YEAH BG&E2!Saturday, April 28, 2012 @ 09:31 AM
I am absolutely ecstatic about this. Rayman Origins was terrific.Sunday, April 29, 2012 @ 11:02 PM
Rayman Origins is an awesome game so I'm glad there is a sequel coming. Now if we could only get Beyond Good and Evil 2...Monday, April 30, 2012 @ 01:03 AM
@17 I was thinking the same thing. If it isn't a Wii-U exclusive, day one for me.Saturday, May 05, 2012 @ 05:55 AM
I love rayman, can't wait.Thursday, May 31, 2012 @ 11:09 PM
Am I the only one who would prefer a rayman game in the style of Rayman 2+3 as opposed to more side scrolling games? certainly they could at least try to make both and see how the 3 dimensional one does? Having two versions of the same series would be interesting as well.

Following the recent leaking of a Wii U focused video all over the internet, Ubisoft has stepped forward to confirm Rayman Origins sequel, Rayman Legends, which is currently in development at Ubisoft Montpellier with Rayman creator Michel Ancel at the helm once again. Presumably the team will be utilising the glorious UbiArt Framework to develop the sequel.
“An internal video showing images of Rayman Origins’ sequel has leaked over the Internet,” Ubisoft confirmed. “This video was intended as a purely internal demonstrative video, and in NO way represents the final game, the final console or their features. This video was destined for internal production teams who often create game prototypes with work in progress development kits.”
Apparently, Rayman Legends sees the endearing wotsit and his friends embarking upon an all-new adventure with dragons, ghosts, vampires, castles and Greek gods a possibility. Rayman Origins' 4-player drop-in/drop-out co-op will no doubt be returning in Rayman Legends too.
