Konami Promising Silent Hill: Downpour and HD Collection Patches

Silent Hill: Downpour

Having trouble getting Silent Hill Downpour and Silent Hill HD Collection to run properly? Fear not. It may be over a month since the games came out but Konami are promising patches “soon.”

“Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, development teams are currently creating online patches for both games, which will fix the frame rate issues, the audio-synching in Silent Hill HD Collection, and the Auto-Save issues in Silent Hill Downpour,” said a Konami statement.

“Players have voiced their concerns, and solutions to these issues will be fixed and launched in the coming weeks.”

Let’s hope so. We’ll bring more once the patches hit.

	It's the fog isn't it that everyone wants back?..well at least they are fixing what they can i suppose

	finally. Might make playing downpour bearable. Although if I can be arsed to finish it I will probably be trading it in anyway

	Hopefully they fix the awful cut scene lag that occurs in the HD collection, I really thought my xbox had crashed it was so bad

	Wonder if they'll fix that gamebreaker where you can't get through the prison door, 2 minutes into the game. Testers were all over that weren't they...

	i hope they fix that fox issue with Silent Hill 2. Refuse to buy the collection till they do it.

	good to hear, was going to treat myself to the HD collection for my birthday in 3 weeks but got put off by the problems i read about BUT by the sounds of this. might be the best time after all(:

	Just started playing HD collection after getting it as a birthday present at the weekend so this should be nice. Also intent on picking up Downpour when it gets a slight price drop so this is a double dose of good news.

	@7: I'm just glad the Xbox 360 version is nowhere near as bad as the PS3 version. That being said, the Xbox 360 version is still pretty bad. @11: I don't remember encountering that, which prison door? I didn't really venture off the path I've always used since I can beat it in an hour to an hour and thirty minutes. @17: You noticed that too? The water and almost everything else environment wise looked better on the PS2 version than the ports.

	I didn't even know about this. Now I am glad I held back with buying Silent Hill 2 HD and Downpour. Might as well wait till they go on sale and hopefuly most of the glitches and bugs will be fixed then..

	Good. Was playing Silent Hill 2 last night and it literally ground to a halt during a cut-scene. How did it even get released like this?

	Would installing the game to the Harddrive, help reduce some of the FPS lag?
