I got an email a few days ago telling me to use my Conviction disc to download the Beta early. I haven't done it yet, even though I'm really excited for this game.
Does anyone know if we unlock anything in the full version for playing the beta, or if any progress/unlocks carry over? |

| I really enjoy how this game plays. If you want a run and gun game your looking in the wrong area. This game requires more tactics then any game I have ever played. Hands down a TEAM game. Im loving every part of the customization. |

#7 - Nothing carries over from the beta specifically but the game's future social site (similar to BF3: Battlelog or CoD: Elite) promises fan appreciation for gamers who have played the Splinter Cell and RB6: Vegas games. This will translate into special camos, attires, and possibly gun attachments as well.
Overall, the netcode for the beta is broken but it's addicting for a beta nonetheless. Kind of got goosebumps when the guns were broken apart into every. single. attachment and I can stylize with sweet camos from the get-go. Oh and everybody, stop going for kills so I can win one game - I get the highest K/D, nab some objectives, and we still lose. Kthx, love you. |

This game is sooo beautiful... Stunned by the graphics on my LED and the gameplay feels just right aling with the Customization being bad ass...

My beta works just fine.
However, there is a bug which is very annoying. If you get stuck at a loading screen when joining a game, dashboard and retry. You need to join a game that is at the lobby, if its in progress the loading screen doesn't end.
And remember this is a beta. Its supposed to help fix these bugs. |

I do enjoy the beta alot but ofcourse its a beta but i hope they do change that host imigration thing thats the cause of alot of troubles in the future, ppl that are host then can use things like lag switching and on to if the host quits and you just about to take an objective it resets the everybody back to their spawnpoint. I had that like 3 times yesterday kinda annoying realy, otherwise it a great solid game and it def forces gamers to work more closely together, but...yes there is always a but lol!
If you like me not having much on-line friends who playing this your stucked with random gamers, that on itself isn,t bad at all, whats bad is that just in these kinda tactical games is needed it teamwork, and thats kinda hard sinds most if not all are either not using a mic or in a party, wich means i can,t warn them about any inbound enemies or call in help. But hey this is common these days in MP games sadly. |

Took forever to get BETA games last night. Sucks it's only 2 maps and one game type. People are already taken this too seriously. So much shit talking and cursing over a less than exciting BETA. Grow up kids and get a life.

| This game is very disappointing. This is very far from what original Ghost Recons fans were hoping for. Its nothing but a fast paced run and gun game now with ingame wall hacks lol. Ubisoft has let me down on this one. |

I really don't get what the hell people who say "Now this game requires some tactics" and so on mean. Honestly, I'm going to flat out say that these people don't know what they're talking about.
This game has severely changed styles. It is now just a run-and-gun game so that people can spray the shit out of the air near you and win. Several times I attempted to shoot people with single shot rifles, would land one or even two hits while they lived. I, however, would die the moment they pressed the trigger with their AR after I'd already shot them.
Since they added killcams, which I hate, it also allowed me to see that many, many times, people with ARs or SMGs would spray at me while I'm running, except they ALWAYS shot behind where I was. I'm not sure how they're able to shoot behind my character and still kill me, unless it's due to those "homing"/curving bullets, but either way, it's completely stupid and takes out the skill.
This is not to mention people launching grenades across the map to where they see my red body outline through walls, etc., in order to kill me instantly when the grenade lands anywhere remotely close to me.
There's more issues I have, but the bottom line is that they've made so many changes to the game that they have now taken the skill and planning out of it. The person(s) who spam the most ammunition win(s). I'm severely disappointed. |

I really don't know about this beta...the "loading screen" bug it's a pain in the ass.
In the past two days I have played just a few games.
the thing that you can't change the control layout drove me crazy.
this game is sooo different from the previous ones ( which I love!).
My first impression is that the game is unnaturally complex...I wish they fix overall feeling. |

Fun MP in hour or less but getting so repeatability and loading/lobby get bad asses every few mins. Beta is totally broken. So let hope full version got full polished!!!

Unlocks never carry over from a beta. Why don't people understand this by now?
Also the game is fun when you can actually get into a match. Anything you gotta quit or back out to grab friends its like a 50/50 of being stuck at a loading screen and have to dashboard. Not a huge deal but it does get old when it happens 4 or 5 times in a night. Its like BF3 all over again but with out the seizures. |

| I must say I like the game so far. Maybe that's just because I've been waiting or it for 2 years, and I'm not willing to admit its disappointing. It's different. Bullets are lethal and it plays pretty fast, so you have to get used to the flow of it, but I'd say it's a solid shooter. |

Some of you guys clearly don't know what a beta is...every time there's a beta people complain about the glitches and bugs. That's the point of a beta people! To test those bugs, find them and then fix them for the released product!
@1: Did you not play the Reach beta or GoW3? The first few hours it was hard to connect to the servers but it eventually worked. So please be patient and actually understand this is a BETA.

| @36 Yeah, you're right. Its a Beta and should be full of glitches and things like that, but sometimes this is unplayable (ETERNAL loading screens and some other stuff) and of course this affects the possible "buy" of this game. |

this game MIGHT'VE been fun if it came out like 3 years ago. but to me it seems like its just wayy behind the time of what a fun game consist of, and the controls are wayyy to clunky/and just feels uncordinated. the gameplay also feels whack/slow as fuck. just nothng that appeals to me at all.
it may be worth a rent just to check out the single-player, but besides that NOPE. Also MP Games are wayyyyyy to over-played. That ship has sailed for me a long time ago. its just 100% boring to rack up thousands and thousands of kills for what reason? no reason. its just NOT FUN. even when you play with a group of friends. its just toooo repetitive. no matter what name is in front of it. |

| MP is not stellar, I'm really here for Campaign, Guerilla and other coop elements. No one plays the game the way its meant to be played, just run around and shoot each other and f*ck cover tactics and objectives. |

I'm so pissed off at this fucking abortion of a game, that I don't really know where to start.
OK, first let me make it clear that I understand that it is a Beta, and actually, my problems with this game are nothing to do with the loading screen crashes or any other bugs/glitches despite how annoying they are.
My major problem with this game is that the developers have failed to grasp what it is that made Ghost Recon different from most other military shooters on the market.
I have been a Ghost Recon fan since day one. And the series has seen some pretty drastic changes in that time (From first to third person for example) but despite these changes, it has always retained that Ghost Recon feel. Until now.
Ghost Recon was always a slower more tactical game, and it sure as hell didn't need a cover system.
You are always going to get campers in any shooting game, sadly. However, this game actually encourages such bullshit, by giving you an extra 150 xp for killing from behind cover. 150 xp!? Really?? When a normal kill is worth 75 xp? I want to know the name of the faggot that thought that was a good idea.
I actually started worrying about the game before I even started playing. as soon as the game loaded, I was greeted by my soldier holding a gun that had really fucking annoying yellow writing floating around it.
But wait! It's "Future Soldier" - I'm sure in Military R&D labs around the world, the scientists are working hard on producing guns with holographic ammo counters that project bright yellow writing that is bigger than the gun itself.
There are other things too, but I cannot be bothered listing them, as I am so fuckin raging that I might have a stroke.
Despite all this, I will buy it, and play it, and learn to live with it.
But I will not like it.
And rest assured that when I am finished with it, I won't be trading it in, I will be taking a shit in the box and sending it right back to these clowns.

| This beta is a disgrace to all of us who have waited so long for this game to come out. You would think that with all the extra time put into GRFS that they would release a beta that would function without so many problems. I know it's a beta and I don't expect perfection but with all the freezing, lag, and servers offline issues I feel the beta is useless. Unless ubisoft is checking to see how awful their servers are I guess. |

didn't mind it,took an age for the Ubisoft servers to sign me in
The 2 maps were decent enough,nice size etc,but really not keen on Objective Multiplayer,the other team just camp near the objective and then you have to keep hold of X to activate it for some 30 seconds or so,while you get shot to shit,just boring |

| the graphics are great, the flow of the game is great but the only thing that sucks is CoD players are playing this. and theyre treating it as such. like a fucking third person CoD. all run and gun, or invisi-camping! no tactics on my teams at all and no communication. this game is gonna blow and not because of the Devs, but the consumers....well i guess i give up now. Played the beta for a good three hours straight and then canceled my pre-order. I couldn't get used to the way it controlled.
@61 Almost everyone on XBL has been a CoD player at some point in time. Playing with them is pretty much unavoidable no matter the game. Don't like it, don't play online. I was looking forward to the coop gametypes the most but I no longer want this game. |

| I jumped on one day and there were 8 ppl, 4 on each team which was OK. I could not figure out how stand up and I pressed everything so I was stuck crouching, which was still OK. Then i saw someone and started shooting them. They were not shooting back which was more than OK, but after putting 4 clips into enemy I decided it must be some clone perk I didn't hear about. Then I jumped another guy and shot another 3 clips after which I had died for reasons unkonwn. Does anyone know what's that all about? haven't tried it since... |
