Just a stunt to go : hey guys, pls buy Rock Band in Europe, it's extremely expensive but it -might- be rewarded!
Nah, I'll pass until they actually think of lowering the price or at least bundeling the game with the instruments (170€ already, just instruments!). The game isn't even importable, not compatible with PAL consoles.
Pretty lame stuff imo, but whatever. |

umm...to those complaining it's not for the US, they did this last fall in the US right before it launched, with the tour buses going to college campuses and letting ppl try the game out and audition to be on MTV. it's only fair that europe get the same chance. |

band is rubbish - ibiza is cool - rock band - rubbish game - when will someone release a game that we havent seen before - grand theft auto - seen it, done it. medal of honour and all other army/world war FPS's - seen it, done it. - sports games - seen it, done it. alone in the dark - basically a fancy pants resident evil - seen it done it. in fact i am starting my own discussion thread to point out exactly what i think of games of late - unlike most people i have actually bought every single game i have ever played since launch day of the 360 ( uk ). next gen this, next gen that. NEXT GEN MY BACKSIDE!!! every game is basically the same except for fancy graphics - I am officially suing microsoft later this year and to find out why......well i will keep you informed. |

The funny thing is that you will be able to go to Ibiza which is owned by Spain and is country where Rock Band isn't even out and they even did the European launch event there.
Obviously, the marketing guys need shot or some direction of where the UK, France and Germany actually are.
btw, you guys in America got this first, but you had it before the game came out in your country so if you don't mind its time for our go. |

I just like to comment on a few comments now.
@Stolen - Well the reason is because not alot of people bought the game in Europe, so you do a tour more people see the game and more people will buy it or at least faint at the price.
@The Grader - That is a fair point but let me tell you this. The world is ran by money and stockholders and the fact is that copy and pasting well known things to make tons of cash is the thing to have a better chance at survival and have more cash so the stockholders will be happy.
No big company is willing to take a risk on having a new francise nowdays unless its a company with massive games and bring new franchises to the table easily to a new audience. So unless greed becomes a thing of the past, then maybe you will be able to have some new ideas a |
