What does the foggy, spooky small town of Silent Hill have in common with the towering, armed-to-the-teeth mechs of Armored Core? The answer of course, is absolutely nothing other than the fact that they're sharing space on the site today as our reviews finally hit the front page.
Silent Hill: Downpour marks a return for the rusty brown and grey-hued survival horror, with escaped prisoner Murphy Pendleton striving to escape the titular town, lest he be mauled by shambling bags of offal. Armored Core V on the other hand is another outing for the customisable war machines, with missiles flying left, right and centre as you carefully plan your attack strategies and tactics.
It's chalk and cheese then, but there's two verdicts awaiting your eyes. One question remains... Are they any good?
