@5 I don't want to buy a Rally Game, I don't want to buy a Simulation Racing Game, I do want to buy Destruction Derby Madness Racing Game - They just appealed to an entirely different market and have now expanded! Congrats Dirt, I think I will probably be buying this to replace my much loved FlatOut UC! :P (about time too) |

| I played the first one at a friends house. It just didn't grab me,as since Gran Turismo and Forza have implemented the idea of "simulation" racers in my head. I feel like I have "grown up" and passed by games like this. |

| Been waiting for a quality demo racing game since test drive unlimited! Loved GRID and DIRT 2 so this is a day one. Codemasters > Turn 10! |

| @#6: Among other reasons, so that videos can be shown without becoming unavailable if the YouTube user takes it down or if a mistaken and/or false copyright claim is filed. It's explained in more detail in the announcement article that's available on the main page. |

@#8 it's ok not to enjoy this type of game but I think you mean to say you've "moved on" as opposed to "grown up". It's not immature to enjoy kick ass demolition games. Dirt's level of quality has always been very high and this one looks no different - I'm in! I also think it's a good thing to keep the rally events distinct from the more arcadey ones so you better know what to expect, but I hope this doesn't come at the price of diversity within a single title. |

| I think they chose the wrong way. They should have come back to the real rallye and leave this upcoming Ken-Block-wanna-be-rallye on the side. I want real racers like Loeb and not playboys who still haven't grown up. For me, this focus on US-markets really killed the series. |

| But they're doing both aren't they? I don't understand why everyone is unhappy - You want Rally, play the upcoming Dirt 3, you want destruction derby, play Dirt Showdown! Sounds like a good idea |
