| @4 It's not the same Dante we've seen in the last four, this one is set in an alternate dimension. I've heard that he is a demon-angel hybrid, in the other ones, he's a demon-human hybrid. Either way, I'm still getting it! :D |

| Game looks great just like the original series. Its as if that thumbnail is capcom repling to everyone complaining bout the new dante. At least try the game before saying they ruined the franchise as if gameplay and story are still as gd as it has been in previous games there is no problem i think with trying a different approach of character. We can remember dante as a great character but it time for change cant tell the story of the same character forever. Im sure one day the old dante will make a return and if u dont like this u still got the hd collection capcom makin everyone happy here (sort of) |

| Everything I have seen about this game looks really good. The character design makes no difference to me. I might have to pick this game up on release date. Other than Dragons Dogma, this looks to be the only good game from capcom in recent memory. |

| I'm looking forward to it. Despite all the fanboys protesting and getting pissed off, it looks more interesting than DMC4 was, and I want to see how Ninja Theory handle it. People who haven't played it yet need to get a grip and judge it after trying it or learning more. |

This game looks pretty good. I can see where fans of previous Dmc games are coming from when they say Dante's new appearance sucks, but to strictly not buy the game just because the series is heading off in a new direction? They're just bitter and have nothing better to rage on. I personally enjoy the new visuals, and I feel that this new Dante will grow onto the audience over the course of the game. Gameplay looks fluent, and it still looks like a Devil May Cry game.
And it can't be as bad as Ninja Gaiden 3... |

| This game isn't even being developed by Capcom and there was nothing wrong with the old series to reboot it. Doesn't even act like Dante or have the same old voice actor, so there's nothing that is Dante in this new character to me at all. Which is one of the reasons which made me love all the old games because of how awesome Dante was. |

| This game looks way better then 4, the set up was terrible in 4, run through a level, then finish the level by going all the way back to the beginning, how exciting. I am super syked for this one. lol at all the comments saying it looks good having thumbs down, people need to accept change, if everything stayed the same that would get boring real quick. |

Well it puts me at SOME ease to find out that they aren't considering this as apart of the official story to the DMC trilogy, but I'm still torn if I want to play it or not. They've cleaned him up (Dante) since when we first saw him some 10 months ago and I really think they are trying to apease the fans that cried foul. . . *sigh* lets give em a chance shall we boys and girls? One things for damn sure and if you dont mind I think I'll quote the big Double D himself in saying "Looks like this is going to be one hell of a party."
As for you Lee and X360a.org. . . . more cocky then DMC3 Dante who was more concerned about Dog Shows/Pizza/Parties/Babes/Toilets/Gladiators/Deoderant? Also younger? Dante in DMC3 was 19 this guy looks in his early to mid twenties. Plus since when did Dante have grey hair? In all of his highres CG art hes had an ALMOST light purple/white hue to his hair. . . . and smooth talker? HA! Lemme run a few lines by you from 3 of his games;
DMC1: "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with LIIIIIIGHT!"
DMC2: "Let me hear your swan song."
DMC3: "We are the sons of Sparda. . . with in each of us flows his blood but more importantlly. . .HIS SOUL!. . . .and now. . . my soul and saying it wants to STOP YOU!!!" (Even Vergil laughed at how fucking corny this was)
Dante by far is the furthest away from smooth and your comparison to him to this new Sexual deviant version is waaaaaay out of context. I am dissapoint.

#24: maybe you should look into it more yourself. . . if you want to find out his prequel story theres these two awesome sorces of info for you. . . they are called mangas and they explain that Dante and Vergil have always been what they are, if you are saying "Its before his demon essence was fully awakened" . . . . ummm last time I recall mission 3 of DMC3 Dante says in response to Cerberus' "You are not human are you?" Dante says "Who knows? I'm not even sure myself!" later on in mission 7 when Vergil defeats Dante THEN his "Demon essence" is awakened and Vergil response to with, "It appears a devil has awoken inside you as well." Implying that the fight stirred something in the brothers that lay dormant for nearly 2 decades.
I could go even further and refer to DMC1 when Dante 1st meets Trish (after impaling him) he says to her "Even as a child I've had demonic blood flowing through my veins."
Plus after the Nelo Angelo 3 fight Dante reminises about when he his brother and mother all lived happily and were given their amulets as a gift. If this was TRULEY a prequel . . . how come Dante has no amulet in his trailer? Does Arkham not state "Hes taking good care of it" to Vergil about that very gift? I could go on and on DMC was what got me through fucking High school man I live and breathe that shit, I am the very defonition of DMC fanboy and it pisses me off when people write it off as a simple prequel when theres so many inconsistancies, well now you know and knowing is half the battle. |
